Charlie's Side
My eyes opened and I was blinded by the light. When my vision came back, I took a quick glance at the room. I noticed someone sitting in a chair by my bed. I studied their face and recognized it.
"Ross?" I asked.
"Yeah it's me Charls"
"What's going on" I asked.
"Well you were unconscious so we took you to the hospital. And you were in a coma for 2 months. So here you are" I nodded my head as I took int the information. I saw him typing something on his phone. All of a sudden my phone went off. I clicked the home button and there I saw a tweet from Ross saying,
"Woo-hoo!!! Charlie finally woke up. Best day ever!!! @charls74
I smiled at what he wrote. It was cute and cliche at the same time. Ross reached out and put his hand on mine.
"I'll be right back. Got to go tell the doctor your awake" he said. I nodded my head as he left. I wonder what happened over the past 2 months I was here. Just then Rydel walked into the room.
"Charlie your a wake" she screamed as she ran over to me.
"Yeah. Hey Delly" I said. "So what have you been up to?"
"Nothing much. Do you know that Ross has been coming up here everyday! He would go home for 5 minutes then would already be driving here!" She blurted out.
"No I didn't know that" I confessed.
"Oh"
"How are you and Ratliff doing. What's your statise at?" I asked.
"Well right now Ratliff and I are dating"
"Aww Delly that's great" I cooed. Ross walked in with Ratliff.
"Sunny, your awake" sunny is Ratliffs nickname he gave me.
"Yeah I am awake Ell" I replied. The two boys sat down in the two left over chairs. This was actually a pretty big room.
"Good news" Ross started. "You get to go home today at 5:00" I checked the time to see how much longer i have to stay here till. It was 1:40 so I still had 3 hours and 20 minutes. Ugh I can't wait to get home.
"Great. Then we all get to hang out after" we all agreed to not go swimming for a while.
"So what should we do when we get back?" Ell asked.
"We could play foot ball" Ross stated.
"We could play video games" I listed.
"We could go shopping" Rydel added. I gave her the "I don't really feel like that" look. She sighed and slumped back into her chair.
"Or we could do truth or dare" Rydel asked. I nodded saying that I'm interested.
"What I just got a crazy idea" Ratliff jumped up.
"Ok Ratliff what is it" Ross sounded kinda scared.
"We could play video games. The winner has to ask the loser a truth or dare question and while the other two people are waiting for their turn. Then they can pass the foot ball around and play truth or dare." Ratliff explained the whole entire thing which took up 5 minutes to explain the games and answer any questions we had.
"Gee Ratliff that sounded pretty simple" I said with the hint of sarcasm in my voice. Ell shook his head then sat back down.
"Who's up for yogurt" Rydel asked.
"Me" I said
"Me two" Ross said
"Me three" Ratliff finished. Rydel and Ratliff stood up and went down to the cafeteria to get Ross and I our yogurt.
"So, what did you do in the past 2 months" I asked Ross the same question I asked Rydel.
"Well I came up her everyday, checked my twitter, posted stuff about you and that is pretty much it" Ross spoke very calmly. He's usually never like this.
"Ross why are you talking so calmly. You never talk like that." I said in a sweet voice.
"I'm talking like this because I know that your alright. And that I will always be there for you"
"That's really sweet Ross" I told him the truth. As much as I wanted to say that I love him right now. I just couldn't. I don't know why but something is telling me to wait. Wait for a sign.
"You know, when you were in your coma, you would repeat the words "I Love Ross" and I would always reply something back and you would smile" Oh dear. What just happened. "Don't worry Charls. I love you too"
My heart stopped for a second. Did he just say that he loves me? Now what are we boyfriend and girlfriend?
"You do?" I blurted out studying his eyes to see if he was telling the truth.
"Yes Charls" he's not scratching the back of his neck. He's not lying. Oh my gosh. "Charlie, will you be my girlfriend"
"Of course Ross" I was so happy at this point that no words can explain it.

It was 5:30 when we arrived at Ross's house. 2 boys and Ryland came running to the door. Who are those boys?
"Charlie your ok" the blonde boy hugged me.
"Umm who are you" I asked them.
"Charlie don't you remember us?" The brown haired boy asked. I shook my head no. They really looked hurt.
"Just kidding. It's good to see you guys again" they sighed in relief.
"Don't trick us like that again Charls" Riker said. We all laughed and then played Ratliffs idea of the 3 game mixed.
