World was extremely anxious. He was walking to a nice little cafe, but had no idea if Lyer was behind him. Lately, he had felt lonely, so he had made a grindr account (as much as Lyer protested against it). Today he was meeting somebody named Brandon, who in the photos had looked surprisingly hot and buff, AND wanted to date World?? Here it was, a little cafe with a couple people inside. he walked in and found Brandon quickly, sitting down and introducing himself quickly.
"Hey Mike!" Brandon smiled letting World sit down and get comfy "Hows your day been?" "Pretty good" World answered, awkwardly fiddling with his hands and smiling back. Then he felt a cold rush of air, and a gentle french whisper into his ear "bonjour, connard~" Great. Just as he was starting his date, Lyer had to show up. But World had to keep going. "Hows your day been, then?" World asked, getting a short 'good' in response. They both ordered some stuff, Brandon getting a coffee and salad and World getting a sandwich, a hot chocolate, and a bagel with cream cheese on it (bagel is for lyer ofc). Why couldn't Lyer leave them alone?
Once the date was over, World got a kiss from Brandon before the male left, leaving World blushing and smiling like a toddler. The next few weeks they had more and more dates, World going over to Brandon's house, Brandon going over to Worlds, all that. Brandon had made it official on the third date, and World was deeply in love at this point. Lyer meanwhile, had been showing up more and more, one time almost trying to fight (without world noticing) Brandon when he touched Worlds waist. Luckily World has stopped him before Brandon noticed, but it was really getting to Lyer.
And then about 7 dates in, they both went home drunk, and Lyer watched in despair as his puppet for murder, definitely why he was angry, was taken away from his innocence that LYER was supposed to take with MURDER
