Chapter 1

"Oh my gosh I love it mom its so pretty!" Sara Wellner screamed as she opened a gift for her birthday. It was a pink hair clip with flowers and jewels.
"Glad you like it. I saw it in the mall and thought about you."
"You know exactly what I like mom i love you so much thank you!"
" Happy birthday sweetheart i love you too."
"I'm gonna go do my hair very pretty and put this in it when I'm done. I'll be right back!"
Sara's mom smiled as she watched her 13 year old daughter rush up the stairs.
"Sara don't forget you have volleyball practice this afternoon after school. okay?"
"Okay mom i won't!" Sara replayed to her mom.
Sara rushed downstairs to say goodbye to her mother.
"Bye mom I have to go I'm running late."
Sara had emerged from the dinning room into the kitchen where her mother was cleaning dishes. Sara's mom turned and saw Sara's hair was in a cute pony tale with a braid on the side and the pink flower hair pin was right at the beginning of the braid.
Sara's mom smiled "You are so beautiful Sara. "
Sara smiled back and ran to hug her mother "i love you mom thanks for everything."
Sara turned and ran to the door. grabbed her bag and ran out to catch the bus. When the bus arrived Sara went to her assigned seat, number 16, she plopped down next to her best friend Taylor Drake.
"Sara guess what!"
"What!"
"Maddie and Kristen said that they could stay at my house tonight too, and that Maddie could bring her Bluetooth speakers so we can listen to music and actually hear it."
"Cool. I'm so excited."
"Me too."
The bus stopped, Sara and Taylor got off and ran to their lockers. Sara, Maddie Taylor and Kristen always met there in the morning.
When it was lunch time Sara ran downstairs and looked at the menu and saw they where serving hotdogs for lunch.
"Ewww! The hotdogs are gross they are green and hard to chew!" Cried Taylor
"Wait you actually ate one and didn't die?" asked Maddie.
