"Often I am upset, that I cannot fall in love, but I guess this avoids the stress of falling out of it" She said, a soft smile on her face. She was down on her bed, she held a stuffed rabbit in her arms. Looking at the rabbit's eyes she continued to ramble on "Are you tired of me yet?" She said to me
"I'm a little sick right now, but I swear, when I'm ready I will fly us out of here" I said, looking into her eyes, they reminded me almost of crystals.
"Okay then dear. I'll cut my hair. To make you stare. I'll hide my chest and I'll figure out a way to get us out of here" She said, looking back at me.
We finally left. It took so long for us to finally be able to run away. We had our bags over our shoulders. She had her rabbit in her hand. We were walking along the main road when a car blinded us.
"Hahahaha darling, Turn off your porcelain face! Its so bright" She said, laughing at me and playfully punching me in the arm but even so, I can't really think right now in this place. I feel like in the sky there's too many colours than there normally is. Its so beautiful. Beautiful enough to drive all of us insane.
"Are you dead? Sometimes I think I'm dead" I said, looking up at the stars.
" I understand. Its so different here and just 'Cause I can feel ghosts and ghouls wrapping my head, I dont think we're dead. But I don't wanna fall asleep just yet" She said, as we sat down at a bus station bench we found.
Its been ten minutes since the last car drove by. Since then my eyes went dark. To be honest I don't know where my pupils are but I'll figure out a way to get us out of here.
We fell asleep at the bus station.
We woke up to the bus coming down the road, and we hopped on. It took a while to get to the big city, but It was worth it. Me and the girl I was travelling with were finally here. We were gonna make a new life for ourselves. We were finally free from it all.
