"Breath," Ryan told me, looking me straight in the eye as we sat in the backseat of Brayden's car "Look at me, Charlie."

I was blinking rapidly, trying to stay conscious, trying to look for air.

The flashing lights of cars and streetlights from the car window were making me dizzier.

I looked at Ryan, focusing on the words he was saying but everything was becoming blurry.

"No, no, no," Ryan said sternly as he held my face with both of his hands "Charlie, focus on me."

"Hospital?" Brayden asked worriedly from the driver's seat.

"No, just her house." Ryan said as he examined my face.

My eyelids were getting heavier and I couldn't help but give in to the darkness.

My eyes opened slowly, everything was blurry so I blinked a few times to let my sight adjust.

Shit, my neck's killing me. I don't remember anything that happened after I passed out.

I noticed the familiar poster of Fall Out Boy & Coldplay on the blue walls and realised I was in my room.

I tried to sit up but my head started pounding and I closed my eyes shut, containing the pain.

I felt shifting next to me and looked over to see Brayden laying down on my bed.

He was sleeping soundly, his right arm firmly around my waist.

I turned to lay on my side, careful not to wake him up and faced him, smiling slightly.

I brushed my hands on his cheek, look at him, a boy with soft skin.

I touched the part of his face where his dimples appeared whenever he smiled sweetly at me, whenever he would smirk, whenever he would laugh at every stupid little thing I said or did.

How did I become so fortunate to have such a wonderful person love me?

God or maybe someone up there must like me.

Still, I can't believe I had a panic attack...I thought the doctor said I wouldn't be getting those anymore.

I used to have panic attacks when I was a kid, Ryan knew how to deal with me in those times.

When I was in a crowded place or when I was just overwhelmed with anxiety, those were usually the cause of my panic attacks.

Don't let the hate get to you. You're strong, Charlie.

I felt Brayden groan softly as he pulled me closer to him.

I smiled into his chest, closing my eyes and cuddling closer to him.

Don't let the hate get to you, even if you aren't as strong as you thought you were, you have someone who you can count on.

I heard my phone vibrate and my eyes shot open, my heart beat quickening.

I closed my eyes back, try not to be so over dramatic, Charlie. Geez.

My phone kept buzzing and I swear I tried my best to ignore it but I felt like my ears were going to explode.
