The Attraction

(Edit: I will be using Bianca Lawson as Tobraya in this story..)

"Ahhhh smell that Shawnie?" Cory asked walking to his locker in the halls of a very familiar schoolhouse. "It's the smell of a new school year an-..." He cut himself off mid sentence and sniffed the air. "Mr. Feeny?!" He asked turning around to find the familiar aged face staring back at him.

"Mathews.." He said and looked at Shawn. With a small nod of the head he spoke clearly and sternly. "I expect this year to be better than the last...." with that he left to his office leaving the two standing there with a 'this ain't gonna be a good school year' look. The mischievous grins on their faces said it all.

"Whatever you two are thinking about doing...don't do it." Said a familiar female voice. The two boys turned once again. Cory's face lit up seeing his longtime girlfriend standing alone in front of him. "Where's Braya?" Shawn asked, speaking for the first time since he'd been there.

"Braya?" Both Cory and Topanga said at the same time. "You nicknamed her?" Topanga asked not shocked at all. She knew Shawn had always had a thing for Tobraya. Ever since that day in 6th grade when Tobraya was introduced to Cory and Shawn. He felt something for her. He dismissed it as liking her and tried not to pay attention to it.

"Where is she anyway?" Shawn asked trying to change the subject. "Oh well she had to stay home for a while because she-" Topanga was cut off by a feminine voice standing once again behind the group. "She what?" Tobraya asked.

"Who are we talking about?" She continued. Cory stood with a look of fear and confusion while Shawn smiled. "Hey Tobraya.." Shawn said not breaking eye contact with the girl. "......we seriously need to put a bell on these people.." Cory said with the same look still plastered on his face.

Topanga smiled walking up to her best friend. "She had a doctor's appointment and I thought she might've been late but looks like I was wrong.." She said. "Of course I won't be late...how else will I see Shawn if we have two different classes In the morning?" Tobraya asked.

Shawn blushed and looked away causing Tobraya to smile. She might've been hinting at something to him but at this point in time she just didn't know. Not yet at least. He's made her feel things in the past but she never let her true emotions run free. Mostly because she didn't know what they were.

The four went to their lockers Shawn and Corey's locker were one apart of each other while Topanga and Tobraya's locker were right next to each other. "You know he has a thing for you right?" Topanga asked most likely talking about Shawn. Tobraya chuckled softly and shook her head. "I wouldn't have guessed.." she said sarcastically.

The two girls began to decorate the inside of their lockers just to make it feel more like home. Tobraya brought a bunch of pictures she had of the four of them along with a mirror and some nice looking magnets. "Hey I remember that picture..." Topanga said with a soft smile. It was a picture of Tobraya and Shawn.

《Flashback to seventh grade》

Cory, Topanga, and Shawn all rushed over to Tobraya's house. Topanga frantically knocked on the door not wasting a second to make her presence known. "Ms. Tomlinson it's me Topanga!" She called while knocking. Tobraya's mother scuffles over to the door. With a sad smile she opened it and looked at Topanga.

There were a few unexpected faces which caused her soft expression to change into that of confusion. "This is Cory and Shawn..the ones we talked to you about." She said. Ms. Tomlinson nodded and moved aside letting the three in. "Tobraya is in her room but please keep a safe distance she is still contagious."

By the end of her sentence shawn had already dissapeared up the stairs cory and Topanga looked at one another then glanced at the yet again confused face of Tobraya's mom. "He really likes her.." Topanga explained.
