Our Demons within

Two: parties//first impressions.

"Hey mum" I reach over and kiss her on the cheek.

"Good morning baby" she cooed.

"Ready for school?" I moan.

"Obviously mum" I say sadly.

She laughs and continues on eating beak fast.

"Well mum I'm off, see you later" I smile getting up.

"Wait, Miles I was thinking we've been living here for two months and haven't had a house welcoming party..." She trails off

I nod asking for her to continue.

"And well everyone, I think was expecting us to have one so I think that we should, and invite everyone, it's Friday today so we can have it tomorrow?" I smiled.

"Sure mum that will be great" I nod.

I grab my bag and go to head out until my mums voice stops me.

"Oh and miles I would like you to invite the Johnson's I've already asked personally and the said 'they might' but, I thought maybe you could ask Hayley their daughter in person? Maybe In school?" I froze.

Hayley? Ask her? In person? My crush?

I don't like disappointing my mother so I'd do this for her.. And for me secretly.

"Sure yeah I'll do it at lunch bye love you." I said leaving my house and 'walking' to school because my jackass brother has my one.

(Skip to third period, before dinner)
It's third period and I'm impatiently tapping my pencil against my table waiting for the bell to ring for lunch.

"Hey Miles, chill dude" I look over at my friend Seth to see him looking worriedly at my pencil.

"Sorry just erm... Hungry is all" I nod and he laughs.

"You and me both Miles, you and me both" I laugh.

DINGGG---
That's the bell telling us it's dinner and I grab all my belongings and reach for my bag and rush out with Seth.

Truth is I'm not hungry I just really want to see and maybe talk up Hayley.

I reach the doors and open them and sit in my normal 'popular table' as I started this new school I've become quite 'popular' as only my looks stared getting all the other boys jealous as girls were really throwing themselves at me.

It pissed the boys off so once they finally found out I was the 'new super hot kid' as girls still say, they accepted me in their group as a 'popular'.

I was greeted by a chorus of 'heys' or 'sup dude' as I sat down. Quickly to which I replied to.

I scanned the room looking for Hayley and quickly spotted her.

Today it's a white plain top with a red//blue checkered plaid top over it. Unbuttoned.

She wore skinny blue knee ripped jeans and maroon low cut Oxford shoes.

Hair down and face as beautiful as always.

She was sat with Kyle and laughing.

I used to get jealous of him but, like I said he's gay and how I know that is as he was the one to show me around school.

He's bubbly and very confident, pinching my bum, rubbing my shoulder for more then needed and kissing me on the cheeks.

He still does that kind of stuff like call me 'pet names' it's either 'big booty' 'angelic angel' or his favourite one 'Miles the monster in bed' I've never even been in bed with him before but, hey leave the kid to dream right?

I tell my friends I'll be a min and they nod and go back to listening to one guys story of how he 'screwed' a girl.

I slowly walk over and Kyle notices and smirks my way.

I finally reach my table and Hayley finally notices me and FINALLY gives me attention.

My breath stops as she looks at my face with those blue gorgeous striking eyes meeting mine.

"Oh hello, angelic angel, how are we baby?" Kyle cooed in my ear as he dragged me down to stop on the chair next to me.

Well, he must have gone with his second favourite name huh?

"Hello Kyle, I'm good thanks, you?" I smile.

"Great now your here, she's starting to bore me" he laughs as Hayley frowns even deeper.
And looks down again.

"I actually came to talk to Hayley" I smile.

She looks up and into my eyes confused.

"What do you need?" Omg her voice, I swear I'm in heaven!
It's sweet and slightly croaky but, memorising.

"Erm, well you see that my mum I having a welcoming party because we was meant to have one but, yeah didn't so she asked me to invite you in Person" I smiled.

She nodded.
"I see, I'll ask my dad" she spat out the name dad?

"Hayley, I'll come with you as well if you want? Maybe I can ask your dad for you?" Kyle asked suddenly.

"Y-yeah but you know how he is ky" i looked back and forth as they spoke.

"Of course but, I'll be with you" he whispered the last part and squeezed her hand slowly.

Well that made me jealous...

"If it's a trouble it really doesn't matter it's just I thought we could hang out at the party? Yano get to know each other?" I smiled.

"I'll ask Miles" she smiled.

"Great, well it's tomorrow, hope to see you both" I smiled sweetly and stood up.

"Wait, Miles no goodbye kiss?" Kyle asked.

"No Kyle no goodbye kiss" I laughed.

"Fine!" He groaned.

"Can Hayley have one though?"he asked cheekily.

Her eyes went wide and she went slightly red and shuck her head no.

I laughed and kissed her cheek smoothly.

I felt her shiver while I was in cloud nine.

I felt electric run though me all over... ALL over.

"Hope to see you soon" I smirked and left them both shocked behind.

Really no one can kill my smile right now...
