Chapter 5

Minho sat stressed out on the couch in between Woojin and another man. This man had naturally curly hair, coloured in pale blonde. He had a buffed and muscular body almost like a beach-boy. This man went by the name of Bang Chan, or Chan for short. Chan was trying to make Minho comfortable after stopping by the house to take him out on their lunch date. He saw Minho was in the utmost mess and Woojin told him the whole scenario. Chan immediately felt responsible for it was because of his foolishness that made Minho fall for him. He and Minho were childhood friends and went way back. Chan already started having feelings for Minho when he was in seventh grade. He really admired Minho's charming personality for though he doesn't always show his feelings freely, he really cares for that person dearly on the inside. Not to mention Minho's alluring looks.

  Chan knew very well that he had no chance with Minho ever since he told him of his crush with Jisung in their tenth grade. Jisung was new to school at the time and Minho went head-over-heels for him. Chan grew a deep dislike towards Jisung. When it was announced that Minho and Jisung were officially dating, Chan despised him even more. His feelings for Minho grew bigger and serious which led to his greed to get Minho to be his. Chan would always volunteer to drive the couple to college and would always force Jisung to sit at the back while Minho sat in the front. Jisung usually took short naps on car rides and Chan took his habit to his advantage. He would flirt with Minho which he took lightly. They soon started getting sexual, creeping Minho out. On the other hand, Chan enjoyed seeing Minho flustered thinking he looked cute. However, one incident took this to a whole other level.

  Jisung told Chan to stop the car at a nearby convenient shop so that he could grab some breakfast one day. As Jisung left, Minho and Chan sat in silence, while Chan went for it. He grabbed Minho by the arm, pulling him over and planting a rough kiss on Minho's lips. Chan melted at the embrace that he had been lusting for years. He tried to savour the moment by biting Minho's lips, making them plump to his satisfaction. Minho tried to pull away from Chan's grasps but failed horribly. He didn't give in to the kiss and felt hurt by it. Chan's constant biting, pained Minho a lot. Not just physically, but his pride too. It hurt badly before Chan stopped and stared into Minho with twinkling eyes. 

"Minho," he said, "you have no clue how much I love you." He caressed Minho's hair, down to his ears. He soon stopped and returned to his original state, as a walking Jisung, eyes glued to his phone while munching on a bun approached the car.

  That moment petrified Minho. Yet, it did something to his heart and feelings. He felt messed up and confused. Though he technically got harassed, he still relished Chan's touch. Minho would lay up awake for weeks on end, trying to sort out his feelings. He failed miserably and chose Chan instead of Jisung which was a grave mistake. He agreed to be with Chan and wasn't Chan delighted. He tried his very best to be the best boyfriend Minho could ask for. Minho would thank Chan dearly for being so sweet, but that dark cloud of guilt and regret still swirled around his head. Until, Minho made up his mind to finally tell Jisung of his horrid decision of cheating on him. He felt remorseful for doing so, which led them to their current circumstance.
