BakuDeku, An Unexpected Development

I was so focused on the lecture I hardly noticed how close he'd come to resting his head on my desk. Surprised, I sit up straight in my seat to better assess the image before me. He looked like he was dozing off, which was dangerous because of the angle of his chair. Still, I can't bring myself to say anything. Instead, I slowly lean over my desk and lay my head beside his, staring at his blond head of hair.

At some point I'd reached out to touch it. Recieving no negative reaction other than a slight groan, I proceed to play with his hair.

A while later, the bell rings and class is over, snapping Kacchan and I out of our dazed trances and alerting us of the intense gazes fixed on our side of the room.

"The hell are you lookin' at!?" Kacchan hollers.

Our classmates hesitate to say anything due to the look of utter humiliation on my face, but they can't stay silent forever.

"Uh," one starts. "We've been wondering for a while now. . . ."

"Spit it out, will ya!?" He barks.

". . . Are you guys dating?"

"Hah!?" Confused, Kacchan shouts.

"You and Deku."

Horrified, I gawk at my classmates and their betrayal. Why!?

Kacchan then steps closer and drapes an arm over my shoulders. "What's it to ya!?" He growls possessively.

Instead of intimidation, this causes numerous "Aww"s to erupt throughout the classroom.

Bewildered, I'm unsure what the situation has led to. Then Kacchan takes me by the wrist and proceeds to drag me out of the room.

"K-Kacchan, where are we going!?"

"Room."

Huh!?

We arrive at the dorms in a matter of minutes with Kacchan tossing me inside like a rag doll. I stumble onto his bed with a creak and a thud, opening my eyes to something rather unsettling: Kacchan is crawling onto the mattress with me.

"K-Kacchan, please, I'm sor-" Before I can finish, he plops down on the bed with his head in my lap.

"M'tired. Keep goin."

. . . Huh?

I'm so sorry I haven't been updating, but I'm working on "Influence" and a new Bakudeku story that'll be a few chapters long. I want to wait til it's finished to publish it so please be patient with me, thanks for all your support!
