The Uzumaki Will of Fire

Chapter 2: The Two Council meeting.

"When I first heard about a full council meeting today. I wasn't expecting it to be first thing in the morning. I barely had any beauty sleep after last night's papaer work." Inoichi joked with the Hokage as he watched the rest of Konoha's council gather in the chambers.

"Apologises for the early meeting but all will be explained soon Yamanaka-san." Hiruzen replied a smile as he took his own seat.

Once comfortable Hiruzen noticed only two people were missing. Both of which were from the civilian council. His former teammate, the old war hawk Danzo and the former shinobi Mebuki Haruno.

"I believe now would be the best time to start. You my enter Ashina." The Third Hokage shouted out as the doors opened up.

Walking into the council chambers Ashina would be lying if he said he wasn't intimidated even slightly. "Hi." Ashina grinned as he waved at the council.

"Last night Ashina Uzumaki here came to our village. He is as far as we know, he is the only survivor of Uzushio's fall." As the Third Hokage explained the council room was filled with the sound of whispers. The more nervous one sounded like they were coming from the civilian half.

"Uzumaki-san has come to our village in the hopes of joining our Shinobi ranks. Along with with hopes of having the Uzumaki Clan registered as a Shinobi Clan." The Shinobi Council began to nod their heads in approval.

"Now before we begin asking any question, I believe that Uzumaki-san has something to say before we start." Hiruzen then motioned his arm in a way to signal for Ashina to speak.

"Well, with all eyes on me now, I'm feeling a little kid again tttebaku..." Ashina nervously rubbed the back of his head as he spoke. The Shinobi both active and retired couldn't help but hold back there laughter.

"But what I have to say is nothing more than a simple warning." Ashina's body language had changed into a far more serious stance and posture.

The Shinobi Council and a few former Shinobi of the Civilian Council were sitting slightly more on edge after the change. "You wish to warn us?" Shikaku asked Ashina.

"Yes but... What i'm about to say stands wither you chose to recognised the Uzumaki Clan as a Shinobi clan of Konoha." Ashina could see them silently nod their heads in approval for him to continue.

"As of this moment. Naruto Uzumaki is under my protection." Ashina stated out to both Councils.

Nearly the entire civilian side were up in roar as were a few on the Shinobi side but they subsided their disapproval when the seen someone raise a hand to silence them. This man was Danzo Shimura.

"What makes you think that we'll allow you access to our Jinchuriki boy?" Danzo raised his voice to speak to Ashina.

"Since the fall of Uzushio, I've been alone without a place to call home." Ashina's chakra began to flare wildly as he continued. "I would never use a member of MY family as a weapon."

"I'd watch your tone with me boy. I might be old but I still have a few jutsu I can overpower you with." Danzo stated back to Ashina who narrowed his eyes.

Ashina smirked as he removed his flak jacket. "Our villages once shared a pact together and it's something that is still shown today. Those marks on the back of your flak jackets are signs of that friendship, just like the leaf is on mine." Ashina stated as he pointed to the Leaf symbol on the downed flak jacket.

"That means nothing now boy." Danzo sneered at Ashina. Hiruzen and the other Shinobi, current and former were about to protest in Ashina's defence. But they stop when they seen what he was doing.
