Kaede's Pov

I woke up at 6 AM. I sat up slowly,moving my messy blonde hair out from my face. I climbed out of bed and changed from my pajamas and into my uniform. I dusted off my skirt and grabbed a hairbrush. I went into my bathroom and brushed my hair and teeth. I put my hair clips in and exited the small bathroom. I pulled on my bag that I wore everywhere and left my room. ------- I entered the hallway,and looked around. I saw Kaito with Maki. "Maki!" I exclaimed softly. Maki looked over from Kaito. "Ah..Kaede." She responded. I ran over to her. "Good morning!" I said,hugging her. "Kaede..no hugs,we went over this." She pushed me off her. "Right,sorry!" I replied. "Morning Kaito." I said,looking over at Kaito. "Mornin'." He replied. I watched as he noticed Shuichi walked down the hall to him,leaving me and Maki alone. I looked over at Maki,who was playing with her hair a bit. "You look good today Maki!" I said,having a bit of blush escape onto my cheeks. "Eh..?Oh uh..thank you Kaede." She replied softly. I smiled in response and took her hand. "Should we go to the cafeteria? I mean it is breakfast!" I said. She nodded in response. I walked down the hall,her beside me.

Maki's POV

I didn't move my hand away from Kaede's,I did grip harder though. I glanced over at her,looking at her blonde hair and soft face. I felt my cheeks get hot as they turned pink and I looked away. "I can't have a crush on her!What would Kaito think?!" I thought. When I looked up I noticed we were in the cafeteria now. Kaede had let go of my hand and sat at her seat. I sat beside her and just stared straight at my hands,not looking at Kaede. I looked up as Kirumi handed us our food. I ate slowly,thinking of Kaede. I finished and stood up,noticing Kaede was gone. I exited the loud cafeteria and headed to the roof..as that was where she would wait for me.

Maki walked up to the roof,not surprised seeing Kaede sitting on one of the benches.She was writing songs in her notebook. Maki walked up to her and sat beside her. "Hey Maki,what do you think of this song?" The blonde girl questioned,thrusting the notebook near Maki. Maki grabbed it softly and read it. "I think its lovely Kaede.." She said,having a small smile. Kaede grabbed the notebook back. "Thanks Maki!" She exclaimed softly,a smile spread across her face. She went back to writing as Maki sat there,her legs criss crossed.

Somehow a few hours had passed as they would occasionally talk and Kaede show Maki her songs. It was now 7 PM. Maki felt something push against her shoulder and she looked over. Kaede was asleep. Maki decided to not wake her and soon fell asleep herself.
