Maki's POV

I awoke in an uncomfortable place. I felt something heavy on my chest and looked down,seeing Kaede cuddled up against me. My mouth opened a bit and my face turned red. "Uh..Kaede..?" I managed to mumble. Kaede groaned and stuffed herself into my chest more. I looked around and we were still on the roof. I checked my phone..11 AM. "Kaede..come on..wake up." I mumbled. Kaede slowly opened her eyes and sat up. "H-huh..Maki?..What time is it.." She yawned,pulling down her shirt which was up a bit. "11 AM." I responded,looking away to cover my red face. The doors to the roof opened and Kaito bursted through. "Makiroll! There you are!" He ran over to me. "Kaito?Don't call me Makiroll." I sat up. "I thought you were hurt! You weren't in your room!" He exclaimed,sweating a bit from running around. I looked over at Kaede,who was looking back at me. I blushed and looked away. "You okay Makiroll? You seem red." Kaito asked. "I'm fine,just hot that's all." I mumbled. Kaede stood up. "I should be going..see you later Maki!" She said,walking away. "C'mon Makiroll." Kaito reached a hand out. I ignored the gesture and stood up myself. I walked away,Kaito following.

Kaede's POV

I reached the end of the steps and sighed. "Today will be interesting.." I mumbled. I walked down the hall and was greeted by Shuichi. "Hey Kaede!" He smiled. I stopped beside him. "Hello Shuichi." I replied. "Do you wanna go hangout in the li-" He was cut off by Kokichi hugging him from behind. They were a new couple,and a cute one to be honest. I giggled softly. "Of course Shuichi.See you in there." I said,walking away from the two. ---- I entered the library,greeted by the cold air and smell of blood..its been 2 days since Rantaro was killed. I never thought Miu would do this. I still have the visions in my mind..her eyes. gah...I need to stop. I shook my head and sat at one of the tables. Shuichi walked in,alone. "Sorry I took so long,Kokichi was being clingy." He laughed. "Its fine,I'm not busy." I replied. He sat across from me and we talked about casual stuff. --30 minus later-- The door opened,and Maki entered,Kaito following. "Maki?You never come in here." Shuichi mumbled. "Kaede,do you wanna go to my room and hangout..?" She mumbled and rubbed her arm nervously. "Oh,of course Maki!" I stood up and looked at a disappointed Shuichi. "Sorry Shuichi,we can talk later." I said,leaving with Maki.

I reached for Kaede's hand as we walked,which I was surprised to which she grabbed mine. She held onto my hand tightly. I covered my face a bit,blushing. I took out my key as we approached my room. I twisted the key and pushed my door open,us both entering. I closed my door and locked it again. Kaede sat on my bed,admiring my room. I stood there awkwardly. "I like your room!" She said,making me jump a bit. "Ah uh thank you.." I covered my face with one of my ponytails. Kaede stood up and moved my ponytail down. She looked me in the eyes,I looked back into hers. It was like I was in a trance. She reached down and attached her lips to mine. My eyes widened. She pulled away. It was over as quick as it came. "D...Did you just k..kiss me?" I asked..
