Victoria Pov:
I roll over in my bed and wake up my bestfriend/roommate Kamilla who was asleep next to me. "Kamilla get up it's the first day back to school"
"No. Five more minutes."she mumbles back at me.
I roll my eyes and sigh at her."Fine but in five minutes I'm ripping you out of bed Kami."
The only response I get back is her gentle snoring. I get up and head to the sink. I brush my teeth and take a minute to look at myself. My long black curly hair, my dark chocolatey skin, my dark brown eyes and my small button nose.
I begin to spray down my hair and put products in it while running my hands through my coils and curls. I look over at my friend still sleeping.
"Kamilla get up." I begin shaking her.
"Okay okay! I'm up! I'm up!"
I walk to the closet and get a pink polo and light blue jeans then head downstairs. My dad is making breakfast for us.
"Hi dad." I say and give him a hug.
"Good morning Princess." My dad smiles down at me.
I'm not that tall I'm only 5'1 so almost everyone has to look down at me. I hear Kamilla coming down the stairs.
We eat our breakfast then grab our bags then walk to the bus stop with my dog Sofia.
I begin saying hi to all of my old friends and introducing Kamilla to them. As I'm catching up with my friends I notice a short darkskin girl by herself and pull her over.
"Hi! I'm Victoria. What's your name?" I ask her.
"My name's Alani." She says quietly
"It's nice to meet you Alani." I say with a smile.
As if it's right on que the bus arrives and I give my dad a hug and get on the bus.
