"Finally," murmured Lady Gisela, she and Ruy were walking towards a house. Not just a normal house, an Elvin house. Most elves were used to their stunning architecture, but Humans? Not so much, everyone in a 3 mile radius had heard of the amazing castle like house, nestled by trees on the crest of a hill.
"Gisela, if any harm comes to my daughter, it will fall upon you. And that much guilt would shatter your consciousness completely." Said Ruy. He was often like this, as he had gone to great lengths to protect his daughter, Lily-Rosé.
After leaving the Lost Cities, Ruy has made a deal with the Neverseen, he would let them turn his child into their version of Project Moonlark, so long as they stayed away until she was 13 years of age, and had manifested. Lady Gisela and Vespera had agreed, both saying that once she manifested her abilities, they would contact Ruy by setting off fires in the surrounding paddocks, the same shape, size and smell as the ones used 11 years ago when they tried to find Sophie Foster.
"Ahhh, there's my Sunflower." Said Ruy with a smirk.
"Daddd! I'm not a Sunflower! I'm a lily!! I'm a lily and a rosé!" Replied Lily, storming into the lounge room to greet her father, although this time she got a shock. Not only was her father standing there, but two strange looking people in black cloaks, with a white eye on the sleeve.
"Dad?" Lily asked with a trembling voice "Who are those people?" Lily had moved to behind her father, like a puppy seeking shelter after a days play.
"This is Aunty Gisela and Aunty Vespera! They came to see your abilities!" Ruy exclaimed
"Ok, but I manifested again today so the house is a little messy, as I hadn't a chance to clean before you arrived." Lily explained, leading the 3 Adults into the rest of the house, up to the 3rd floor and into her fathers study.
"So, Lily, what can you do?" Asked Lady Vespera.
"I'll show you 4 in Dad's office, then the others we have to do outside as they are more dangerous and are you newer than the others." Lily said. She clicked her fingers, making a force field materialise and trap Ruy at the bookshelf, another trapping Lady Gisela at the small sitting area, and the last trapping Lady Vespera at the desk.
"Amazing control, I assume you have been training with your father." Lady Gisela stated, a statement not a question.
"Ok, onto the next." Said Ruy. Lily clicked again, making all force fields disappear, as she moved over to the other side of the room, obviously needing more space to move, whatever this next ability was obviously easier as it was much quicker to do/show. Lily took a deep breath, a little crease stealing in between her brows as she focused, suddenly a strong breeze flew in the room, picking Lily off her feet and balancing her in the air, playfully bouncing her around with the wind.
"Oh a Guster! Gethen and I should have made that bet before we came." Whispered Lady Gisela to... actually no one knew who she was whispering to. Lily moved again, pacing around the room. The Adults took longer than expected to pick it up but got there eventually.
"Vanisher!" Exclaimed Ruy. It was evident that the vanishing ability had been manifested that day as it was much shakier than the others.
"This is the last one inside, I was tempted to show you outside but I think I can handle it." Said Lily. She whispered something only she could hear and the room flooded with darkness, leaving only the voices of the people in the room to distinguish where they were.
"Shadowflux..." murmured Lady Vespera. The shadows vanished, only leaving one around the windows and light bulb, providing the room with subtle to no light.
"I'm still experimenting calling it in different ways, but other than that I think I have improved quite a bit since Thursday."
"Thursday?!?!" Asked Lady Gisela, "that was 4 days ago! No one has ever been able to call shadowflux in 4 days! This is amazing!" Lady Gisela was obviously amazed, her chin was on the floor (not literally) and she was gasping whenever someone mentioned anything along the lines of Lily's shadowflux.
"That... that gives us more of an advantage. Now! Let's go outside! I can't wait to see what you can do." Said Lady Vespera.
Ruy led everyone into one of the neighbouring paddocks, excited for his daughter to show off her abilities.
"So this is a newer one, I'm really excited about it but I'll stop talking now," said Lily. Her face was a giant smile, joy radiating off of her. She focused again, the crease betwenn her brows coming back to her facial expression, not a bead of sweat trickling down her face. All of a sudden, fire sparked in her hand, she jumped, obviously not expecting it and letting it crawl on the nearest hay bale.
"PUT IT OUT!" Yelled Lady Gisela
"Not yet, let her do her thing." Replied Ruy calmly. Lily focused even more, her face getting the look of determination like no one had ever seen. Then out of the blue, a giant wave of water came, putting out the flame with one touch. That confirmed she was a Pryokinetic and a Hydrokinetic. Everyone stared at her in awe, no elf had ever had more than one of the elemental abilities. But the show wasn't over yet. Lily snapped her fingers, a glowing orb of light, hovering just above her hand.
"That's it!" Exclaimed a beaming Lily.
"So time recap, she is a: Psionipath, Vanisher, Guster, Shade, Flasher, Pryokinetic and Hydrokinetic! That's 7 abilities! 2 more than the infamous Sophie Foster!" Said Ruy, with glee in his voice.
"Well then, welcome to the Neverseen Miss Lily"
"What's a Neverseen? Wait nevermind, don't tell me, I don't think I want to know."A/N (Authors Note) OMG GUYS!! This was so fun to write! And I hope you enjoy it, I'll try to update at least 4 times a week but ya' know no promises. See you in the next A/N. 1050 words!
