The Ultrasound

Today Madisyn and Summer went to the doctor's office for their ultrasounds. "Do you wanna find out whether the baby is a boy or a girl today" asked the nurse. Madisyn and Summer shared a knowing glance. They had talked about this the night before. "We would like to know" said both of the girls. The doctor took them to the ultrasound room. "Well Madisyn, you're doing fine. You should be due in about two months" said the nurse. "That's awesome" said Summer. "See there's the baby's head and down here is the feet" said the nurse. "Awe" said both the girls. "Now for the gender of your baby," said the nurse "It is a girl". "Awe, we can have the precious mommy and daughter moments" said Madisyn. "Now for your turn" said the nurse. The nurse put the clear jelly like substance on Summer's belly. "Well you're coming along fine too" said the nurse. "She was throwing up yesterday is that normal" said Madisyn. "Yes. It's just pregnancy sickness" said the nurse. "There's your baby's hands and down here it's little feet" said the nurse. "I bet he/she will be adorable" said Madisyn. "The baby is a............girl" said the nurse.

Summer and Madisyn went home and debated whether or not to tell the boys the gender of the babies yet. "Maybe, we should so we can go ahead and have the baby shower" said Madisyn. "But...." said Summer. "But what" said Madisyn. "Nevermind. if we tell the boys now then we can go ahead and paint that one large room. we can paint it light blue and add purple flower stickers to the wall. The boys will have to buy the crib, diaper changing area, baby clothes, diaper bag, baby wipes, and baby bottles. Oh yeah if we plan on breast feeding we will need a pumper" said Summer. "See it's better if tell them so they don't end up getting us boy crap when we need girl stuff" said Madisyn. The girls called Luke and Calum and told them all the stuff they needed to buy for tomorrow. They let the boys pick out the shade of purple for the baby's room.
