chapter 2 : make him wanna marry me

everyone stayed silent for a bit before erupting into cheers . i breathed out a sigh of relief.

camila and luca came over to congratulate us first . "mija congratulations, i'm proud of you matti " she said squeezing us both into a hug . "thank you camila " i said , "please you've basically been our daughter since you got here you can call me mamá" she said kissing my cheek and i smiled . "where'd you pop the question " luca asked mattia , and mattia explained while camila admired the ring . "we should honestly be thanking you without you we wouldn't even have been able to go to europe " i said and she smile .

next aria and kai walked up to us , "i fucking knew it " aria said hugging me , "how " i giggled . "you too are way too chilled to have a whole dinner for your coming home party " she said and i laughed . kairi and aria swopped places , she went to congratulate mattia and kairi came to speak to me , "i would tell you to treat my friend well but in all honesty i've never seen anyone make him as happy as you do " kai said to me and i honestly could've cried , "kai you're so sweet" i said hugging him .

we all started getting our things and walking out when vic came over to speak to me . "hey" she said pulling me aside . "hi" i giggled , "listen i wanted to speak to you about the whole engagement " she said . "you're not fully happy about it " i said . "how'd you know " she asked . "vic you're my best friend , you would've been the first one to congratulate me , i could see as soon as mattia said it " i said . "it's not that i'm not happy for you i really am , i know you too make each other insanely happy and i wouldn't want you to be with anyone else " she said . "but " i asked raising my eyebrow . "i just don't want you guys to rush anything you're still insanely young and you've been on and off for the last year , maybe just try and stay together without any fights you know " she said . i giggled , "vic were not gonna get married anytime soon , it's more of a promise in all honestly because i agree we do need to learn to not break up over dumb shit all the time " i said and relief instantly washed over her face . "i thought you'd be mad at me " she said and i pulled her into a hug "how could i ever be mad at you " i said . "but other than that i'm super happy for you " she squealed and i laughed.

mattia and ale walked over followed by kairi and aria. "we should do something soon " aria said and we all nodded in agreement, "we should go party and then have a sleep over " aria suggested , "honestly we've never really gone out so why not " said vic . "bet let's do it the weekend ?" asked ale and we all nodded before saying our goodbyes .

"so i was thinking " i started , "yea" mattia said , "i think i know how we should tell the fans " i said and he looked over at me and then back at the road . "hmm and how's that " he said a bit cautiously . "it's a surprise " i smirked and mattia just looked at me .

when we got home i changed into shorts and a hoodie and mattia put on shorts and a hoodie aswell .

"did vic speak to you aswell " he asked as he put the tv on , "yea , ale speak to you ?" i asked , "not really he said he'd rather let vic speak to you incase he fucked up and it came out wrong " mattia said . "oh well , she just said she wants us to be sure before we actually get married like no more breaking up over dumb things " i shrugged . "oh well it's not like we're gonna get married right now " mattia said , "that's what i said so she said that was her only worry " i replied .

mattia gestured for me to come over and pulled me onto his lap . " i promise no more secrets , and i promise to always hear you out and discuss the problem instead of just starting a fight " mattia said , "and i promise to not jump to conclusions either " i said kissing him . "i like this , and as long as we're both putting the effort in it'll work " i said and he smiled .

"so about telling the fans " i smirked pulling him up and to the bathroom grabbing my phone , i picked the sound

"are we really going to do this on a tiktok " he said , "mattia , it wouldn't be you if we didn't " i said laughing and setting the phone up so that it could get both of us before pressing start.

as the sound started i showed the camera my ring before doing the weird dance that everyone did on the trend while mattia laughed at me. just before it ended i threw it back on mattia and his face immediately changed and he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder as the tiktok ended . he started walking towards the room "baby i still need to post it " i said tickling him . "i don't care " he said lowly . "it's going to keep playing just let me go post it then we can do whatever " i said . mattia put me down and shot me an unimpressed look .

i ran back to the bathroom and grabbed my phone , i captioned the video "surprise 💍" before posting it.

i walked back into the bed room mattia was sitting on the edge of his bed watching the video , "the ending is hilarious " he said smirking at his phone , "i mean it's an accurate representation of our relationship " i shrugged and he smirked at me .

i'm sorry this chapter is on the shorter side but it's honestly a bit of a filler chapter that why .
