After spending five hours searching through Instagram I finally found his page. I admired his photos before following him and sending him a DM. The DM read:

Hey I don't know what happened. I mean you promised...

I didn't realize I was crying until I saw a tear land on my phone screen. I quickly wiped it away and decided to go get something to eat.

After finding every possible piece of junk food in my kitchen I went back up to my room to drown my sorrows in food and Gossip Girl. I grab my phone to put on Netflix and see a notification from Instagram. I quickly open the app and check my DMs. It's from Cooper! Holy shit! He said:

What are you talking about? Did you not see my note? I told you I wouldn't leave you. I promised. I know I did leave but my note explained it.

He left a note? I didn't see it. Oh no. The cleaning lady came in. She must have thrown it out when she cleaned up the room. I DM him back saying:

Omg I'm so sorry! I didn't get your note. The cleaning lady came in this morning and she must've thrown it out not realizing. What'd it say?

Now I feel bad. He instantly responded saying:

It said 'Good morning beautiful! I know I promised I wouldn't leave but I promise it's not what you think. I had a great time. You were great. Trust me. I left because my parents were flipping shit on me and said they were going to take my keys away if I didn't get home. I didn't want that to happen because then I couldn't drive to see you anymore. I'm so so so sorry. I promise I will make it up to you. -Cooper <3

Damn I'm a horrible person. I almost accused him of hitting it and quitting it. Instead of DMing him back I decide to text him.

To Cooper: Hi. This is Renee. I figured I'd text instead of DMing you again. I'm sorry. I feel bad for almost accusing you of hitting it and quitting it. Don't worry I completely understand. I'd rather you go home to keep your car than get in trouble. :)

From Cooper: Thank you for understanding. Let's hang out tonight?

To Cooper: Of course. Sure, what time?

From Cooper: I'll pick you up at 7 ;)

To Cooper: Ok, see you soon :)

From Cooper: See you soon, beautiful :))
