—if you opened up a dictionary and searched for the word "troublemaker," you would find ashton listed in the description. he's an extroverted soul, and thrives under pressure. he lives on adrenaline and impulsiveness, and is that one friend that would wake you up at four am just to go grab some mcdonalds. ashton is a witty, flirty person (if he had a partner, he wouldn't be unfaithful, though), and comes off as a lot more confident than he really is. he's a "play hard, study less" type of guy, but he has a knack for his major, allowing him to procrastinate his work. he's extremely protective over the people he loves and cares about, and is easily jealous. he has a tendency to speak whatever is on his mind, and his blunt nature always manages to land him into some type of trouble.

—he loves parties. like, he'll try and go to three in the same day if he could. surprising to a lot of his friends, he's actually quite fond of playing the guitar — he hasn't had any private lessons, he just dabbles in it from time to time. his blood is literally filled with coffee, and he depends on it to keep him awake in the middle of the night whenever he studies last minute for his exams. he's into casual-formal type fashions, and has a hobby of shopping for inexpensive, yet fashionable outfits. if you want a guarantee for a good date with this guy, take him to an amusement park with lots of rollercoasters.

—he absolutely HATES dogs. he had a really bad encounter with one when he was younger, and now he can't even get close to one without freaking out. dobermans especially, since that was the dog that had attacked him when he was younger. he's also not particularly fond of his father, since he was a really strict parental figure in his life when he was younger (hence, his rebellious nature). on less dire terms, he also doesn't like chocolate. it just never tasted good to him.

—when he was younger, he had very fond memories of his parents and his younger siblings. they lived a very comfortable life, since his father owned a very large realestate company. his mother stayed at home with him and his siblings, and she was loving and kind to them. ashton's childhood was filled with laughter and sunshine, the biggest problem in his life then simply being petty arguments between his younger brother, axel.
however, when he reached highschool, his father started becoming a lot stricter on grades and academics. he was beginning to groom ashton to take over the company when he would turn eighteen, and constantly pestered him about the business. ashton hated it, and in attempts to spite his father, he constantly partied, procrastinating his studies. the only reason his father didn't punish him much was due to the fact that ashton had a knack for his studies. he had an eidetic memory, which meant he could remember anything he read. it was easy for him to ace his assignments, and he stayed top of his class.
when he did turn eighteen, he refused to take over the company. he and his father had a huge fight, and he ended up getting kicked out of the house. he doesn't talk to his father anymore, but he's still on good terms with his mother and siblings.

—(oc) and ashton have been dating for a couple of months now, and everything seemed to be going pretty well. ashton was a party addict, and he would drag (oc) to parties constantly. the routine was pretty much the same everytime; the minute ashton walked into the room, he was almost always surrounded by his friends and acquaintances. he just had this aura that drew people in, and alluring as it was, always managed to make (oc's) insides tingle with small hints of jealousy.
however, this time, the tables seemed to be switched a bit. ashton had left (oc) to grab him/her a drink, and in that time, a random drunk had sauntered up to (oc), the smell of alcohol wafting off of his clothes and breath. "what are you doing here all alone, cutie?~"
ashton came back a couple of moments later with a drink in his hand, searching through the crowd for his boyfriend/girlfriend. however, to his dismay, he came across another random person hitting on (oc). he pushed past people in the crowd, heading straight for (oc); when he finally reached him, he shoved past the drunk, possessively wrapping an arm around (oc's) waist. "back off, he's mine," ashton sneered, his eyes narrowing at the sides of his eyes.
