I walked toward the movie theater, feeling butterflies like I did yesterday.
I tried getting rid of that feeling, but it won't seem to stop.
I could see Ethan inside already, talking to people. I walked inside, and looked around, pretending I didn't know he was there.
Then I could feel his eyes meet mine, and I looked back. I walked over to him, and smiled. Grayson was there too.
I looked at Grayson, and then at Ethan with confusion. Grayson waved.
"He brought a date too." Ethan explained.
I nodded.
Wait. Did he say we were on a date?
"What are we watching?" I asked.
After discussing the movies, and figuring the movie ticket prices, we decided on watching Annabelle.
I reached into my pocket for my money, but Ethan insisted he paid for me. Instead, I bought the popcorn. I didn't want to be rude, so I paid for something.
"So Grayson, where's your date?" I asked
"She said she was running late." he replied defensively, then he chuckled.
"What?" I asked.
He looked like he was about to talk, but said nothing, as he just shook his head slightly with his smile still beaming.
Grayson stayed to wait for his date, while Ethan and I roamed to find a place to sit for four people. There were none. I guess a lot of people wanted to see it. So we just sat at a place for two in the middle.
He tossed up a piece of popcorn and caught it in his mouth.
I quietly applauded him, as he did it again. I picked one up, and warned him I'd be bad at it. I tossed it up, and it bounced off my face, and hit the floor.
He smiled at me.
So, I smiled back.
"The movie's starting!" I told him.
Still smiling, he turned to the screen.
Then, Grayson came in by himself, and sat in a seat in front of us.
"Dude, where's your date?" Ethan asked
"She didn't make it." Grayson mumbled.
The movie was actually pretty scary, and I snuggled up close to Ethan, as he looked down at me and held me in his arms.
I smiled, even though this was a really scary part coming up.
Ethan poked me, and pointed at Grayson. I giggled and nodded and picked up a handful of popcorn.
At a really suspenseful part, I threw it at Grayson as he jumped. He sunk down in his seat, and didn't look back at us.
I looked up at Ethan.
"I guess he's not in the mood." he whispered.
I shrugged, as went back to cuddling with Ethan.
*******
At the end of the movie, Grayson wasn't in his seat anymore.
A/n: a couple people just voted for my story, even though i think it's crap. I havent worked on it for months, but i can improve it from here?
