According to Charles Darwin's theory of evolution the modern human race, or the homo sapiens, is distantly related to chimpanzees and bonobos. But what if other species evolved into humans?
What if they were hiding from plain sight?
Homo altera or the other man.
Genus abditus or the secret race.
These were the names coined by the other human race as they recorded their history. As the years passed, they patterned their lives after the homo sapiens'. Eventually, they would discover techniques and invent technologies far more advanced than those of the homo sapiens'. The thirteen clans formed by the homo alteras called their alliance Domino.
Domino. When one fails, all will fall.
They always kept the balance by staying hidden and living in the shadows -- or rather, living in another dimension.
But why do they have to hide?
For thousands of years the homo sapiens had been afraid of the unknown.
Nyctophobia or the fear of the dark.
Phasmophobia or the fear of ghosts and other supernatural things.
Humans always feared anything they couldn't control and explain.
How could they possibly accept the ways of the other humans?

(^^ these are Latin :D since "homo sapiens" is Latin, I figured why not go with the theme? XD)
