Along the path pt 2/2

"GAHHH HELP ME PLEASE!!", a fellow demon slayer yelled out. "He's wearing the Demon Slayer Crops uniform!", Tanjiro ran to help him

"HEY! ARE YOU OKAY?!", Tanjiro ran up to him, with Inosuke behind. But as soon as they got to the demon slayer, he was dragged back into the forest. "AHH EVEN I WAS TIED TOGETHER!!", the boy was yanked back into the forest screaming for his life. "S-Shit, quick you! Boy with yellow hair, what time period is this and where are we.", Zenitsu stared at Cyan who was still covered in blood. "W-We are at Mount Natagumo, in the Taisho period-",

"TAISHO!?", she grabbed the boy and shook him a bit. "Shit, that kid back there.", Cyan turned back to the mountain to see Tanjiro running off with Inosuke into the forest. "Are you coming?", she asked Zenitsu who was shaking in fear.

"N-No way! I'm not going into that death trap!"

She grabbed the boy from his hidori and dragged him into the forest, though the boy protested and cried for his life, she still held on. Cyan was able to find Inosuke and Tanjiro while avoiding the spider webs.

"Ah, I almost forgot to introduce myself. My name is Tanjiro Kamado!", she nodded "There wasn't a need for you to tell me your names, I already knew them, it's just my head... It's been a while since I've been, you know; me.", she spoke sheepishly.

"Oh, I see. If you don't mind me asking, could you explain to us a little bit more about you.", she stopped walking for a moment then opened her mouth to speak.

"It's hard to explain, but. I am to my core, a human, though very different. You are, uh, fleshy! And I'm more uh durable! My body from my world, gives me properties that most humans don't have. But as of right now I can't use those properties.",

"SO A DEMON!!"

"INOSUKE THAT'S RUDE SAY SORRY!!", She chuckled a bit at the comment "It's okay! I've always got those kinds of comments back home.", Tanjiro looked at Cyan and his smile dropped a bit.

"That sounds harsh, no one should be called that no matter what.", she nodded in agreement. "Well my twin Gray, she would try her best to make me happy... The only way I can see her again is to open another portal back.", they boys nodded like they understood what a "portal" is.

"UGH, why are there so many SPIDERS.", Inosuke swung his sword at the spiders. Cyan looked back at Zenitsu who was crying in fear, "You doing okay back there? You look like you're gonna pass out!", He looked up at her with horror in his eyes. "DO YOU THINK ANYONE WILL BE OKAY BEING DRAGGED INTO A DEATH FOREST!?", she gave a small smile to Zenitsu and picked him up so he could stand on his own.

They kept walking till they saw another fellow demon slayer shaking. Tanjiro walked up to him, and grabbed his shoulder. He flinched at Tanjiro "We are here for support, I'm Tanjiro Kamado, rank 10.", he stared at the boy. "10.........10....!? WHY DIDN'T THEY SEND A 'PILLAR'!? THE RESULT WON'T CHANGE NO MATTER HOW MANY RANK 10'S THEY SEND!! IT'S POINTLESS!!", the boy cried at Tanjiro.

"Pst, Kama-kun. How do I know what rank I am? I know a bit about this world, my memory is fuzzy.", Tanjiro looked over to Cyan and remembered. She isn't a demon slayer, but she said she had abilities, she could help. "Wait 'Kama-kun'?", Cyan scratched her head "I like nicknames! I thought you'd like it.", Tanjiro smiled and nodded.

"ARG SO ANNOYING!", Inosuke punched the fellow demon slayer in the face.

"IF YOU KEEP INSISTING THAT THINGS ARE POINTLESS, THEN YOUR VERY EXISTENCE IS POINTLESS!! HURRY UP AND EXPLAIN!!", the poor demon slayer who was now bleeding from the nose, explains how suddenly other slayers have been killing each other out of nowhere.

That's when the bodies around them started to move, the movements weren't natural, as if they were made of wood and carved to become a puppet, they shifted around for a moment. Inosuke, Tanjiro, and Cyan stood their guard, but Zenitsu panicked "GAHHH, WE ARE GOING TO DIE!!", he then ran further into the forest. "Zenitsu! Don't run off-", a fellow demon slayer started to slash at them. Inosuke was able to doge it, "These people are idiots! Isn't it against the rules to kill each other!?", He yelled back to everyone.

"No!! Their movements are very strange, I think they're being controlled!", Tanjiro responded back to Inosuke. Cyan quickly ran into the demon slayer and disarmed him. "Alright then I'll chop them in half!", She slapped him on the head.

"Aren't these people your comrades?! You should be fighting with them! Not against them!", Two more demon slayers were launched at them. Cyan was able to disarm them and took their blades. She slashed behind them, not hurting them at all, then they both fell to the ground. "They're being controlled by strings!", Tanjiro and Inosuke were a bit shocked at her being able to use a sword, after all. She just fell out of the sky bleeding then recovered within a minute. "ACK!", a few more demon slayers being controlled came swinging at her, and managed to get a good cut at Cyan. Inosuke tagged in and cutted the strings that held the fellow slayer captive.

Tanjiro sniffed the air only to cover his nose in disgust. A foul smell, arise from around the forest. That's when he looked over to his arm to see small little spiders crawling on him. They spun a few strings, then immediately Tanjiro's arm was yanked, he quickly cut the strings the spiders had made. So were these spiders the ones who tied everyone else up? He thought to himself. But that's when he realized that the spiders were tying the slayers back up.

Their bodies being contorted and forced to move, though they were dead and long gone, they were forced to go everything they fought for. Bending limbs beyond their limits, and being forced to stand. "Simply cutting the wires wont work! The spiders will only reattach themselves back on, so-", Tanjiro was cut short after smelling the horrible stench again, the smell had to be carried over to the area by the wind he thought. Tanjiro saw the spiders crawling towards him,

And he jumped into the air.

"Then we'll just kill all the spiders!", Inosuke yelled out. Cyan shook her head, "That would be impossible, the spiders are too small, you'd need to burn the forest to kill them. Even if you do, there's a chance that some will survive the flames.", That's when Tanjiro got an idea.

"Cyan! Inosuke! If it's possible for one of you to locate the demon, so please help me!", Cyan thought to herself.

I can help! If I try hard enough, I'll be able to save them!-

That's some speech for someone who massacred their family and friends.

I didn't do it, and you know that. You made me do it!

Heh..Believe what you want. Monster.

"OI, What are you standing around for!?", Inosuke yelled at Cyan, snapping her out of it.

She didn't notice that the spiders had tied themselves onto her, pulling her arm to attack Inosuke, but he was fast enough to cut her free before she could cut him.

"S-Sorry, thanks for helping me out.", Tanjiro landed and turned over to the demon slayer they first met. "Also, you are.."

"I'm Murata!"

"Me and Murata-san will deal with the ones being controlled! Inosuke and Cyan you'll-",

Tanjiro was then cut off, while hearing something in the sky.

A boy who was floating on air, no, he was standing on a thin thread of string.

His light pink hair was like a spider holding onto his face, piercing red eyes, and a kimono with spider web like patterns sewn into it. This demon was bad, the aura that radiated from him

Was strong. A demon, who looked down at the demon slayers.

"Don't disturb our clan's peaceful life here."
