part 5: The Life of Raven (the wolf cub)

After Rose had told Dante the good news they sat on the couch and Raven sat in their laps and fell asleep and after 9 months Rose gave birth to a baby girl they named her Luna. As Luna got older so did the wolf cub they practically grew up together. When Luna turned 16 Raven was right there by Luna's side but Raven wasn't looking very good at that time. When Raven went to Dante she whinned horribly and Dante took her to the vet. Dante was in the waiting room waiting for the vet when he came out he frowned and shook his head. He walked over to Dante and said what Dante didn't want to hear "Sir I'm sorry but Raven is dying." Dante cried he pulled out his phone and called Rose. Rose and Luna rushed down to the vet's and they met a crying Dante in the waiting room and they hugged him. They walked back to Raven and Luna ran to her side crying she looked at Dante and Rose and said with her voice breaking "Mommy, Daddy isn't there something you can do to help her???" They both shook their heads and Luna was in pain you could tell by her sobs that she was hurt. The vet came in with the euthinization shot and Dante grabbed Luna but Luna broke free and stayed by Raven as the doctor gave her the shot. Luna watched as Raven's soft blue eyes closed and her breathing slowed down and she saw Raven breathe her last breath of life. Luna got up and ran to Dante and Rose holding them tightly as they all sat there and sobbed together holding each other tightly. Luna looked back at Raven and didn't want to believe it that her bestfriend in the whole wide world (other than her parents) was lying on the vet's table lifeless. When they got home with a wrapped up Raven they took her out by Rose's grave and buried her next to Rose. Dante looked down and with a breaking voice he said "Here lies Rose and Raven the two best wolves in the world and no one or nothing will ever replace them. They were friends to all of us but Raven's bond was closer to Luna and they did everything together. I'm glad that Raven made my daughter happy such as Rose made me and my wife happy. We lived in perfect peace and harmony with these wolves and I don't think there will ever be wolcves like these two ever again in the world they were sweet kind caring and they were just the perfect wolves a person could ever ask for and I could never ask for any animals better than them. It greatly pains me to say that they are gone. Rose and Raven were always there for this family. Raven protected and helped Rose in the last year of Rose's life and for that I'm greatful that Raven was born and it's sad to see that she's gone and her loss will greatly affect or lives from here on out and I miss them greatly but they will never be truly gone. I love you guys."  Dante turns to Rose and Luna and falls to his knees as Rose and Luna go to his side and they sniffle holding each other. When they get inside they don't eat for days Luna has reoccuring nightmares and she wakes up in the middle of the night screaming and crying holding her pillow tight screaming "RAVEN!!!!!"  Dante and Rose rushed in to calm her down and help her back to sleep and it was the same for a week. Luna was affected the most with the loss of Raven because those two shared a bond that comes once in a lifetime, they were bestfriends and thats all that was needed. 

(( I had alot of fun writing this part but it was really sad for me as the writer to kill off a character such as Raven. I cried the whole time writing this part and I hope you as the reader cry and get the same feel of emotion that I did and thank you for reading this story it means alot to me as a writer and I'm glad my story as come a long way from a facebook message to a composition notebook present to this I feel I have gotten better as a writer now than I have before. Don't worry there will be more parts. This story means alot to me and to see it come this far is something special.
