On A Quest for Meaning

Part: 2

So, I think this has gone well so far. In this chapter, Jake and Callie will meet their real parents and meet the "Crusaders".

Jake looked at the kid with the bat. The baseball bat. The kid smiled and lunged at him. Jake just simply gave him two kidney shots and an uppercut and walked over his crumpled body to the next three kids, who shared the same fate.
You might ask- "Gah!" -Dammit! How Jake got here. Well, here's the story.

Jake and Callie sat In a parking lot. They were eating some takeout from CHACI'S.
They were prone to any Bullies that sidled up. Or do they thought. Soon enough, A guy asked them to meet them at this location old abandoned store, well it was being sold.

Jake only came. Callie has to visit a friend, who was having a baby. Jake came the next day.
(Skip: a day later)
About fifteen guys with baseball bats were stationed guard, god knows how many more in the store. This is not the answer, since there were only Four more when we left. About 45 were there.
The first fifteen charged.

He kicked one in the stomach and liver. He step-slides and throws one into the wall. Or rather kicks. He uppercuts one and spin kicks another.
The (at last) remaining eleven kids pin him to the wall.

He thought this was the end when massive amounts of energy flows into arms and legs and punches one and kicks another to get out. He feels a bat hitting thigh and he almost drops in pain. Another hits his arm. He finally punches the guy only for a bat to slam into his face. He drops, holding his face and charged. He spin kicks one and knocks him unconscious. Eight more to go. He knocks another.

And another. And another.... He destroying till there's 4 left. That ultimately catches up with beginning of the chapter. Anyway, Callie comes home to find his brother with a bloody, Brocken nose and asks what happened, and he relays the story.

She tells him that the birth was a success.
This is NOT the only fight that Jake and Callie will have to face in this chapter. For them to become TRUE assassins, they will need to fight a lot.
(Skip: two hours later)

Five black figures held a meeting near the Holcan house.

"Who will be there to kill them? When will the Ferry Howard glory be restored?" Asked Ferry.

"Mr. Howard, I tell you they might not die. Did you see what Jake did to those children?" Said another man in black.

"Charcoal, how many times do you need to be told! I will kill the children then, you cowards, afraid of one who simply knocked fifteen people out there in six minutes! We can do worse!" He snapped
back. "We will kill these children, I say!"

"Yes Master Howard..."  Charcoal
muttered under his breath.

"Good!" Ferry exclaimed.

(With Callie and Jake)
Someone knocked on The Holcan house.
Jake opened the door to find someone familiar...Family.

"And you are?" He asked.

The woman bowed. "Well," She said. "My name is Manchineel Holcan. And you?"

"Jake-Holcan. Look-"

The both looked at each other with their jaws dropped.
"Where's you sister?" Manchineel Asked.

"Callie's inside," he replied. "Mom."

(With Charcoal and Ferry)
Ferry gave his evil smile.

"Well, Well, Well, looks like Manchineel, and her children in the same place. Time to kill."

Charcoal just smiled. The two snuck through the trees. They watched the as the family got to know each other again.
Charcoal raised his sniper.

"Okay, Charc, shoot on the count of three. One...T-"

Ferry dogged just in time before an shot bounces off a tree.

"Good Damn!" He yells.

Jake raises his pistol again.

"And you? The ones who threatened to kill us?? Ha! 'Good damn!'" He gimmicks.

Jake shoots, and Ferry faints Just Before the bullets missed him.

"Well that takes care of that." Jake sighs.
While Charcoal just stared.

"Who are you looking at? Huh?" Jake asks.

Charcoal smiles and said: "The kid I'm gonna kill." He then shoots.

Charcoal is sent flying to the wall just as he shoots, courtesy of Manchineel.
"Are you ok son?" She asked.

"Ya mom. Don't worry." He replied.

She smiled

"Hey mom?" Asks Callie. "When is Our dad coming?"

"Soon honey, Soon." She replies.

So, in the font I'm using now there is no combos. So, unlike I promised in the last chapter, this chap was short. Anyway, I'm writing a super long chapter in THE YAERS IN THE DARK AGE, and it's taking me some time. This the best I can do if you want Monthly/weekly new chapters.
