Class Begins (Part 1)

Your POV

It was getting late, and all the teams had finally settled into their new dorms with their new teammates. However, while you were on the way to your dorm, you keep getting stares from the other students as you walked ahead of your team which was comprised of three girls. Ellis, Rachel and Patti.

Patti: "Hey Ellis, why do you think all the students are looking at Y/n like that?"

Ellis: *glances around and shrugs* "I honestly have no idea. But whatever the reason is I'm almost positive that it doesn't bother him even a little bit."

Rachel: "Oh, and why do you say that?"

Ellis: "When we ran into each other in the woods, he seemed like he was barely paying attention to anything. He even dogged a Grimm I launched at his direction on accident just by slightly moving his head."

Rachel: "That is a bit odd."

You: "This person your talking about who's odd is two feet in front of you and has working ears."

Rachel: *smiles* "Oh, sorry Y/n! Any way, I think I know the reason he's getting those looks from everyone."

Patti: *tilts her head a bit* "Annnd what do you think that reason is?"

Rachel: "Well, remember that the exam was being broadcast to the whole school. Everyone saw Y/n's performance."

Ellis: "That's true...I guess the school is a little off on him seeing as how he handled such a giant creature with ease."

Rachel: *whispers* "Right? And we don't even know what his semblance is."

Patti: "Speaking of, Y/n, why are you so heavily armed?"

You: "You can never be too prepared."

Ellis: "I swear, one of these days I'm going beat a proper answer out of you."

You: "You're more than welcome to try, but you would lose."

Ellis: "And how can you be so sure!?"

You: *rolls your eyes and gets to the dorm and uses the key given by Glynda to unlock the door* "Just shut it and get inside."

Ellis: *huffs and walks inside* "Hooray, I get the jerk for a partner."

Rachel: *follows behind her along with Patti* "Aww come on Ellis, he doesn't seem so bad."

You: *walks in and shuts the door* "Again, I'm still right here."

Ellis: "We know, but you don't care, do you?"

You: *shakes your head and walks to the bathroom* "No, I don't. I'm taking a shower." *shuts the bathroom door behind you*

POV change: Ellis

Ellis: "Ugh! He is just so irritating! Why is he like that?!" *flops down on one of the beds*

Patti: "Hmm, maybe his friends would know." *sits on the edge of another bed*

Ellis: "What friends?"

Rachel: "Damn, that's a bit harsh don't you think Ellis?"

Ellis: "So what if it is? I doubt anyone so secretive has any friends."

Patti: "I'm not so sure Ellis, remember during the exam? After he jumped down towards those two girls?"

Rachel: "Now that you mention it, yeah I do. It was a blonde girl and black haired girl with red tips in her hair, right?"

Patti: *nods* "Yeah, those two seemed excited to see him."

Rachel: *leans against the wall* "Maybe you're right. Why don't we ask them if we run into them during class tomorrow?"
