After Park became head of the Park crime family, his work flourished and expanded like never before. Park predominantly ran operations from his mansion in Busan, living lavishly and charging higher dues from his underlings.
Eventually, Park aligned himself with Kim Taehyung who also joined Bangtan Boys, and together, they got involved in gambling and bootlegging, building operations.
As Kim's closest business partner, Park began gaining widespread political influence on the local level. Park's standing in mob history is the stuff of legends, mainly because of Park's obsessive interest in American politics.
