( Location: Japan, Year: 1685. )
It's a small town, yet the population is large, the King has announced a new coronation for his son, Jōji! The well known Prince who was loved by all for his kindness.. though that would be regretted later on. Cherry trees bloomed all around, it was a good day during spring. A boy, who was in his cabin, was reading through a guide book, while grabbing things from his shelves.
"I have that.. that too.. maybe I'll pull this spell off! That'd be great!" He cheered to himself, placing the items he held on a table next to him. "I wonder how Ma would react to me doing a spell right.. surely she'd be proud! Right?.." He thought to himself, slightly nervous. He read through the book before putting a flower and a type of liquid in a bowl, crushing the flower up. It started to glow..
"That wasn't part of the plan..? Did I grab the wrong th—-" the bowl and what was inside exploded, causing the boy to jump back out of fear.
"Oh well.. there's always next time!" He sighed.
The people from outside surely saw that explosion, they only laughed. Witchcraft wasn't bad in this town.. it kept everyone protected! Well, for now at least.
(Sleep drunk as it's almost 4 a.m, I was too determined for a first chapter lmao. Sorry if this is bad I'll fix it tomorrow!)
