The warmth of my blanket envelops me, the sun shines in my face as I squint my eyes. I yawn in exhaustion.
Sitting up, I look around my room, making sure this is my home.
All of my rooms pretty much look the same in every reality, but here it really felt like home.
Maybe its finally over, maybe I'm finally home.
I sighed in relief.
"So Onyx, what do you think? I did well right?" I said, smirking in satisfaction.
I crossed my arms, waiting for a response.
"Onyx?" I turned my eyebrow up in confusion.
"You damn idiot.." A certain annoyed spirit spoke.
I jumped in surprise.
"So you are here, what's wrong why do you sound so agitated? I got home didn't I?"
"Did you really think it was going to be that easy? Did you seriously think, oh I'll just smash the orb and I'm home free?"
"u-uhm..." I stuttered.
"IF IT WAS THAT EASY I WOULD'VE TOLD YOU TO DO THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE!" Onyx yelled.
I winced from Onyx's loud voice.
"H-Hey, look I'm sorry. I was just anxious to get home... I don't think I could've handled much more of that reality... It was too painful." I muttered under my breath.
I lowered my head, the painful memories flooding into my head.
"You don't understand what you've done.." Onyx replied. I could hear the agitation in their voice.
"W-What do you mean... am I not home?" I questioned worriedly.
"I seriously doubt it... in fact, you've probably made it worse. That orb is- or was very important, its owner is the god Chronos..."
"Whoa... Chronos? Seriously? Like the greek god of time?" I replied in astonishment.
"Yes, he must have dropped the orb. Whether it was on purpose or an accident, I couldn't tell you." Onyx sighed.
"And now you've gone and broken it, I have no idea if you'll ever get home now, that orb was you're only chance."
I rubbed my temples, hoping that I was home.
I reached for my phone on the table beside me and checked the time and date.

"Ah its still the same." I sighed.
