''That was the best pizza I've ever had,'' I say as we walk out of the restaurant.

''Dude, it was only Pizza Hut,'' Natalie replied whilst rolling her eyes. ''Still. It was amazing.'' It was my turn to roll my eyes.

''I'm still hungry,'' Asher speaks up with a burp. ''What the actual heck?'' I look at him, wide-eyed.

''Bro, I only ate 2 large pizzas, 3 pieces of garlic bread, and 6 chicken nuggets.'' He said as if it's the most normal thing to ever do.

''What the fuck- how are you still hungry?''

''He's a fat pig.'' Natalie says and I let out a chuckle. ''That hurt, Natalie. That truly hurt.'' Asher mocks hurt and results in Natalie rolling her eyes for what seems like the 100th time.

''Let's head back, I'm tired.'' As we start walking down the street, I see many people walk the opposite direction carrying on with their lives, though one duo got my attention.

A man wearing black with a hat hovering over his eyes and the other one wearing tight fitted jeans with chains, my eyes travelled to his face.

His midnight eyes.

"A tomato is a fruit, I'm telling you!" Natalie yells, binging me back to reality.

I pay no further notice to the odd men and continue walking with my two friends who kept bickering over vegetables and fruits until we reached our dorms.

''Thanks for a great night, guys.'' I thank them. ''It was nice hanging out with you.''

''What classes do you have tomorrow?'' Natalie questions. ''Err, let me check.'' Pulling out my phone to check my schedule, I tell her that I have mathematics all day.  ''All day?!'' Asher exclaims, looking up from his phone. ''What can I say? I'm good at maths.'' I reply with a shrug.

It is actually kind of true. I've always just been good at mathematics. So is my dad. Genes, I guess.

"Holy shit. I feel dumb now." Natalie whispered in a small voice. ''You're not dumb Nat.'' I reassure her. ''Why are you lying to her? She's dumb as hell.'' And that's all it took for Natalie to run after Asher while screaming.

I finish watching Maleficent 2 for the 10th time. What time is it even? I open my phone to see and it reads 2:15am. I should've been asleep by now.

Gosh, these time zones suck. I look out my window to see that it's raining.

I have nothing to do, unless I want to start watching Maleficent for the 11th time. ''I swear to God.'' I groan out. I guess I'll just go on a walk since I have absolutely nothing to do.

I open one of my suitcases where I packed all of my clothes. I look for a rain coat and hat and eventually find one. I put both of them on to prevent my hair and clothes from getting wet. I grab my wallet and walk outside the dorm.

I walk through the eerie halls, then proceeding to go outside the university but not without the security guards questioning me.

''Where do you think you're going, young lady? Curfew is at 10.''

''Um.. I forgot a really important assignment at the library back at my way here, I'll come back real quick. If I don't, you can take my pass for a week. I won't be able to leave the premises then.''

They thought about it for a moment, hesitant at first, but eventually gave in.

I smiled triumphantly.

Happily, I start walking on the pavement. Starting to realize how cold it actually is; I hugged the coat tighter to my chest. I put my Spotify playlist on and plug in my earphones and start singing the lyrics.

''I take my pills and I'm happy all the time. Love my girl, but she ain't worth the price.''

I hum the songs that keeps playing until I realize I'm at the back of the school. If I hadn't known any better, I'd say this was a place where gangs and all that mafia shit would occur.

There was graffiti everywhere and the place smelt bad like horrible.

I see a dark figure standing next to a pole. Deciding that this place isn't safe, like at all, I quickly turn on my heels and walk away.

That's when my stomach decides to grumble. Well, I guess Asher and I aren't different after all.  I open Google Maps to find the nearest café so I can get a coffee and something to eat. I walk to the café and enter through the big glass doors.

I only see about 4-6 people and a few employees. I walk up to the register, ''Hi, I'd like to order a Caramel Cappuccino.''

''Will that be all?'' The cashier responds. ''Uh... a chocolate croissant too, please.'' I add on to the order. ''That will be $7.99.'' I open my wallet and pay the barista. Before she goes, I stop her, ''also, do you know where I can put my rain hat and coat?''

''Yes, you can give it to me for now and take it when you're about to leave,'' and with that, I take my coat and hat off and give it to her, and she walks into the kitchen. While waiting for my order, I look around the café and come to a conclusion that I should come here often.

It gives me a homey and a comfy vibe.

After a few minutes, the cashier brings me my order and I go on a lookout for a table. Eventually, I find a clean one and take out my phone. Then the scrolling through the gram starts. I like a few posts that my friends posted earlier of me and them, giving me a sense of overwhelming nostalgia.

I bit into my chocolate croissant while noticing a few messages from my old friends and I reply to all of them. I miss them all so much. Easter break will be the only time we'll get to meet again.

Then I overhear something from the table behind me which made my breath hitch.

''Where did you hide the body?''
