Tanjiro's POV
Walking through town I can feel the suns hot rays on my skin I have to get home though I can't walk any longer or it will be night before I get home. I'm walking home when I pick up the scent of blood , I start running and freeze to see my family covered in blood. I fall to my nees and think to myself "How could I let this happen". As I walk inside the house with tears streaming down my cheek , I check to see if any of them are still alive they aren't. I run into the forest screaming for help only to see a figure . A tall man stared at me from about 10 meters away. I ran up to him leaving my footprints in the snow. I asked him for help but he didn't reply . He caught me by surprise and slashed my neck with his nails. I can't remember anything else that happened but excruciating pain then falling unconscious.
Giyuu's POV
I am walking through the snowy forest when I see a boy that's looks about 15 years old. I go over to see if he's hurt but to my surprise he's and Oni. He wakes up and looks at me with eyes that are as beautiful as a crystal. But his eyes look like he's in pain. He says " Help family Demon" then passing out again. It was my job to kill any Oni I saw but this one is different he looks hurt and traumatized. I can't bring myself to kill him , so I carry him to my home so he can tell me what happened.
Tanjiro's POV
I wake up in a bed that I'm not familiar with I see a man next to me sitting on a chair. He tells me " What happened I found you unconscious in the snow". Sobbing I explain everything "He tells me to calm down and that's it's ok now". I ask him why I feel like I'm dying I'm hungry but not for food and I'm scared of the light but I don't know why.
Giyuu's POV
I have to tell the boy he's an Oni. But I'm still confused why he's not acting like it. I explain to the boy that he's an Oni. I can't get why Muzan turned him but I will have to take him to Kagaya and the rest of the Hashira soon
