Kian's pov.
"Did you expect I'd still consider you as family." He chuckled in disgust as I continued to cry. "You disgust me you filthy omega never try to talk to me again." He sneered. My heart broke I thought he was different but now look he grew up to despise just like the rest of them. "Ky please." I begged as I desperately reached to touch him but he pushed me like some dirt then spat at me. "Am sorry Ky."I woke up disoriented and panting hard. I touched my face and I could feel the fresh tears and and sweat running down its only a dream he could never denounce me I tried convincing myself only to end up crying again.
Its been a while since I dreamt of anything and this scared the shits out of me. I unlocked my phone the brightness blinding me for a second before I adjusted, no messages, not that I had any friends. My contact list only included my family and my boss, apart from his constant annoyance my family's messages were only orders of what needed to be done.
Its 03:30am, Friday my worst day of the week.
I got up to do my daily chores and ensuring everything is perfectly in place. I made myself scarce as I prepared my little brother to join the family for breakfast.
I always prepare for the pain on this day and the truth is it still hurts as I watch them all go out only to shift in their wolves to go for their run. I was always left behind with Kyle since he isn't ten yet.
You first manifest your wolf and shift at ten years then you join your family for the once a week mandatory run. It is mandatory to let your wolf out often for if you oppress it for too long it came with dire repercussions.
At the age of ten on my birthday I was excited though no one remembered it I was ready to see my wolf show him off to my parents. Dissapointed when my wolf met an empty house, everyone was at the hospital excited to bring my baby brother in the world. No one ever saw Felan my beautiful white wolf with blue eyes again he refused to be let out. Afraid of the hurt and I understood him I was hurt too.
"I wanna be ten." Came in a pouty Kyle. "It's just two years baby then you'll meet him and name him and have fun with him." I patted his head calming him. "Yeey I'll call him Skittles and we'll go running." He squealed running around the kitchen island. I grabbed him giving him tickles making him scream in laughter. "No silly you and your wolf will agree on a name and work together." I tell him as he gives me a toothy grin. "Come on lets get you to school." I tell him as he goes wearing his shoes while I pick his lunchbox and put it in his backpack. Dropping him off at school am on my way to work.
"You made it on time, you'll be packing shelves today." Old man Carl comments as soon as I walk in. I pass him by the counter and head to the shelves to sort out the goods.
Though he seems indifferent and cold to others Carl is the only family I know, he always cares about me even when he first found me and gave me a job. I was cold to him believing the rumours spread about him by the pack about him being a creepy crazy dude.
So when he approached me in an alleyway a year ago bruised and bloody one night I thought maybe it was a good day to die. He nursed me back to health though I wasn't a compliant patient. Three days missing and all I got when I arrived home was another beating since I was rude not to show up for my chores.
He is a weird one alright he never talked much but always seemed to know more about me somehow. He offered me a job at his store and I couldn't resist the offer it was hard enough for an omega to get a job we were considered inefficient and troublesome but then again I don't think anyone would have agreed to work at his store but the biggest irony was despite the shunning and insults people had no choice but to come to his store for stock up since he owned the largest store in town.
