What happened to us?
One day you were the boy I could talk to about anything,
Laugh with about everything.
The the next day you evaporated from my life.
And you say I did nothing wrong but What's a girl to think?
That one time we got so close I said,
"No."
I wasn't ready.
Thoughts of
"Did I do something wrong?"
Jumbled through my head more than once.
I knew how you felt about me.
You know how I feel about you.
Then we let everything slip away.
Something must not have been right
If we stopped trying faster than it all began.
