CHAPTER 4 - Greetings and Plans

PRESENT DAY

As you step out of the airport and you are immediately surrounded by bodyguards. You roll your eyes. Even after six months of officially living with the boys and occasionally travelling here to visit friends, the boys still insist on bodyguards.

Why? You don't know. It's not as if ARMY knows about you. And maybe it's just your imagination, but there seem to be more bodyguards than normal.

One of them opens the door for you and you mumble a quick thank you as you step in and sigh.

Why am I doing this to myself again?

2 YEARS AGO

It's been two weeks since the whole incident and you haven't said a word to anyone about it. Not that they would believe you anyway. You're in America now. Staying with family until you can get a place of your own. Hopefully you stay here for a while. You've been moving around a lot since birth, however, there is a hospital nearby, so maybe they need a new addition to their psych ward.

However, that's not why you are here now. Conveniently, BTS are having a fan meet nearby and you plan on being there. These past two weeks have been filled with worry over the mental state of each of the members. None of them looked healthy when you had met them. Sure to the naked eye they were okay, however, as a qualified psychiatrist and an ARMY for the past four years, Something was definitely up.

And that's why you're here right now. Waiting your turn to meet them.

You twist your Namjoon keychain nervously as the person in front of you moves to the next member. As she does, Yoongi looks up and sees you. You step up to him.

"Annyeonghaseyo." You say hesitantly, not sure if he would remember you.

"It's you."

"You remember me?"

"Of course. The maknae line wouldn't stop talking about you."

At his comment, you feel your ears heating up. You hand him your book to sign so it wouldn't look weird.

"How are you?" He asks.

"Actually I came here to ask you guys that. You all seemed so stressed the other day, apart from the whole thing with Jin Oppa."

"Hmm. Well, I've been fine but I know some of the others aren't. Why don't you go ask them."

He hands you back your book with his gummy smile and you melt inside.

Maybe I'm not only Jimin isn't the only one I have a crush on.

"Thank you."

"See you around Amy."

Continuing down the line you read over Yoongi's message and smile.

"Thank you for bringing back Jin Hyung and for not mentioning it anywhere. I'm 95% sure one of the maknaes will invite you to eat with us so I guess I'll see you soon. Fighting."

As you stop by the next member, Tae, He looks up and as he sees you his face lights up.

"Noona!"

You smile at Taehyung's excitement as he leans over to Jimin to whisper something to him. Jimin's eyes widen for a second before he whispers something back to Taehyung before going back to the fan in front of him. He turns to you and bounces excitedly.

"You're here."

"Yeah. I came to check up on you guys. Make sure everyone is actually okay."

"We are staying at a hotel nearby."

He takes your book and skips to the next page.

"Does 6 work for dinner."

"Sure."

"I can't wait!"

"Me too."

You take the book from him and read what's written while slowly walking towards Jimin.

"Noona. We all really wanted to actually give you a real thank you gift, however you didn't really give us any clues as to what you would want or how to contact you apart from your name. I can't wait to get to know you better. Please accept our invitation to Hotel XXX at six pm. Can't wait. TaeTae."

As you sit before Jimin and place you book down, he takes your hands in his and squeezes lightly.

"Thanks again Noona."

You laugh slightly at this.

"Jimin, you're older than me."

"Really?"

Seeing his shocked face you laugh even more.

"Why is this funny?"

"No reason."

He starts signing your book while talking.

"Anyways, I think Jin Hyung is really impatient to see you so here you go. I'll see you later."

You read Jimin's note that he left as you walk and nearly die of laughter.

"Noona. I know you said I'm older than you but the others don't need to know. I already have two annoying Dongsaengs. Even though one is my best friend and the other is a cute bunny. Not saying you're annoying, I just don't wanna take care of anyone else. (Anyways you guys can imagine a pouting Jimin right here) They are a handful already, so this will be our thing. See you later Noona."

Next in the line is RM.

"Hey RM."

"Hey, Amethyst."

You chuckle, "No one hasn't called me that in a while."

"Would you prefer something else?"

"No. I'm fine. It might take some getting used to though."

"Hmm," He hands you back your book before continuing, "I guess I'll see you at dinner."

"Bye RM."

His letter is nice. Not as formal as you thought it would be.

"Amethyst, it's nice to see you again and I can't wait for dinner. Though I have a feeling the Maknae line will steal you. Maybe not Kookie though, he seems a bit off and I think you know why. See you later ;)"

However, he's right. You do know what's wrong with Kookie. And lucky enough, you do know what's wrong.
