Arsen Lavatte- Dylan O'brien
___________________________Darkness..
Is a path where I followed as a young boy. Always getting myself into fights.. and to this day I have no idea why. Did I like getting beat up until my blood was splattered across the cracked pavement. Did I enjoy the attention I was recieving from everyone...
Not nessesarly but...
Was it worth it?
I blame myself for causing Abigal so much trouble.
"Come on Arsen! Stop being like this and lets head our way back home! Those boys aren't worth it." Little dyed pink haired Abigal whined and begged while tugging on my arm sleeve of my blue blazer. I was only in middle school at the time, when I realized what I truly wanted to be.
"No Abby, they just can't act like they own the place." I easily get out of her grip as she glares at me with her big blue eyes. "They deserve to be put in their place.." I proclaim as I stare at the teenage boys who surround the gates of the middle school we attend to. Laughing and pushing each other while spray painting derogatory slang words and disgusting images.
"Ok then! I have an idea lets go tell a teacher! It'd be easier and MORE SAFE you.. you-" not waiting for an identity check from Abigal, I race my way towards the gang of teens, raising my fist in the air and shouting on the top of my lungs.
"Bastards!! Why don't you trash your own school instead of displaying it in ours!!!!" Some guys barely turn as I lodge my fist on one of the taller teen's face, taking him back a few steps.
I breathe heavily as all eyes were on me. They surround me like a bunch of dogs, as the guy I just punched holds his nose and red tiny rivers of blood escape the openings of his fingers.
"You little piece of... come on guys lets get him." He muffles as the group pounce on me with brute force like a lions pride.. and i was seen as the prey.
Im not sure what Abigal did during this time but what she told me after was that I looked like a skimpy noodle that was pushed back by water..
Really... a noodle??
Just as soon as this fight started, all my insides were acking waiting to burst as the teen boys continued to kick at me.. I knew that I was no match from them, I close my eyes as I waited slowly as they laughed along to my pain. Just what I need, another enemy added to my list that kicked the living daylights out of me.
'Grandpa, I think you were wrong...'
Disturbing from my thoughts, I felt a light project directly onto my face. Instant shock and fear flooded to me.
'What? Am i dead or something??' I open my eyes and feel no other contact was towards my body, but the boys that were in the process of murdering me stopped.
'Oh yeah, Im definetly dead..'I take my time to prop my elbows up to create balance so I can look forward, but indescribable pain realease upon my entire body as I stare towards the blinding light.
"Wha..t iii....sss tha-" I manage to say as I feel my bottom lip started to sag. Voices began fading throughout my head.,
"Come on we gotta help him,"
"Idiot kid, always getting himself in trouble."
"Wouldn't be surprised if he joined..."
"Yeah right! Couldn't survive one day.."
This is when I finally let gravity do its job and let my head go back against the concrete. As soon as my head touched the ground I blacked out.
