It took me forever to wake up – the next morning. My injuries were way worse than I thought; one of the attacks had just barely missed my heart. I hated being confined to bed and not being able to do anything, but that was exactly the situation I found myself in. Again. I hated it not only because I couldn't train or go anywhere, but because I had too much time to think. About the kiss, about Zoro, about the other Straw-hat pirates, about my brothers, just things I didn't want to think about at that moment. I spent most of the time just sleeping, reading or doing anything to distract myself.

A sudden loud noise almost made me jump out of bed. I moved too fast and the pain shot through my whole body. Unintendedly, Law had knocked over the stack of books I had built.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up." He held a bottle of Sake in one hand and two glasses in the other.

"What's that for?" I asked, pointing at the bottle.

"I thought you might like a drink." he said and handed me a glass.

"Of course," I said with a big smile as he poured the Sake in my glass.

"It's good to see you smile again." He also had a slight smile on his lips.

That day I got to know a new side of Law. A much more laid-back side of him. He was just laughing and having a good time. Up to that point, I had only known about his strict and serious side, and even seeing him worried was rare. But seeing him like this, this was one of the greatest things I ever got to witness. And it just made me love him even more. But I didn't know how to tell him, even after the kiss.
