I got a call from an unknown number and it woke me out my sleep.

Amy: *yawn* hello?

??: Hi I'm officer Robert. Do you know Someone by the name of Mark, Mark Robertroon?

Amy: yeah, he was my ex-boyfriend?

Officer: Well I'm sorry ma'ma but he was found dead on the bathroom floor of his home at 9:33 this morning.

My heart stopped and I checked the time. It was 11:30

Officer: ma'ma?

Amy: I'm still here.

I was crying by now and Jason woke up confuse af

Jason: babe you okay?

Officer: I'm sorry for you lost Ma'ma but we need you come down to the station to collect fingerprints so when we find a match to ones in the bathroom we can call you if you might have anything to do with it.

Amy: uh, okay what time

Officer: 1 good?

Amy: sure?

I sat at the edge of the bed crying . Jason came to comfort me and I told what happened he too started to cry. I got up and got dress in this.....



And headed to the station.

At the station

I sat  waiting  for a officer to call me and they did I and went to the desk had my  fingerprint tested. As I was about to leave they called me back and showed me a picture of a surveillance camera capturing a woman leaving the room

At my first glance nothing came to mind. But after staring at it I responded

Amy: oh yeah that's Jessie, she's Mark's girlfriend.

The officers looked at each other before asking me for a picture of her.

I showed them that.

They asked me for her name

Amy: uh, not sure I think her name is Jessie Mak she works at a restaurants named "Jael's Joint".

A couple days later the caught her I testified in court against her she was sentence to 30 years without trial.
