"Is this a dream? It has to be", I said as I woke up one day. I saw myself in the mirror but I never wanted to believe what I saw. What did I do to deserve this?

I didn't know what to do or who to ask for help. I can already predict what people will think of me. I crawled back to bed terrified of myself. But fear, just made the horns grow...

Now that's when I decided I can't live here anymore. I took everything with me and ran.
I don't know where I'm gonna go but somewhere far enough from home. I walked and ran for hours and finally stopped, and decided to take a rest and continue the journey in the morning.

My fire went out.
That's when I realized I was cold and alone. I didn't know what to do. But I wasn't alone anymore. As soon as the fire went out, something came at me. Something odd.

It looked huge, but that was just a shadow. Every time it came closer and I took a step back. Then it stopped. I was too scared to run. I stared at it blankly.
It cut my neck, but not deeply.

I ran as far as I could from it. I was tired but need to get away from it. I had a feeling it must be my horns, it attacked me because of my horns...?
I ran without looking back. When I felt safe, I stopped running.
Then, without thinking again, I tried to take out my horns. It was not an amazing sight to have horns. I broke it and it felt like a bone had broken. It seemed to be a part of me.
