The new guy

I groaned as my alarm clock rang throughout my room.I shuffled under my covers when Jack opened the door to my room."Addison get up your gonna make me late for school."After laying in bed for another 5 minutes,I got up and picked out my outfit for the day.Eventually I decided on a white skater skirt,and a baby blue tank top tucked into my skirt,then I just threw on a blue jean jacket and my white converse.Once my outfit was complete I went to my vanity to do my usual makeup routine.I applied a little bit of mascara,foundation,and a little bit of liquid liner.I ran down the steps to go eat breakfast,but of course Jack ate all the cereal."Jack!!"I heard his footsteps jogging down the stairs."What?" He said raising his eyebrow at me.I just gave him the "look" and he bursted into laughter.I rolled my eyes as I threw my backpack over my shoulder.He just followed me out to the car.

The whole ride to school was silent considering we were both too tired to talk and the radio was at a low volume.Once we pull into the school parking lot of the two story high school I sighed and walked into the double doors to my first class.

In the middle of second period the door opened disrupting the entire class.Everyones attention was towards the door as a guy with brown hair that swooped perfectly across his forehead entered the class.His bright blue eyes met mine as he scanned the classroom."Mr.Grier you can take a seat beside Addison."A smile tugged at his lips as he made his way over to the empty desk beside me."Class this is our new student Hayes Grier."Mr.Adams said introducing him to the class.

It was finally lunch as I made my way towards the table I usually sit at with my 2 friends, Marlee and Kaitlynn.During lunch I looked around to see that Hayes had already found a group to fit in with.I was looking to see who he was sitting with when I saw an unfamiliar guy that looks similar to Hayes,Cameron,and...Jack?

The rest of my classes consisted of me constantly admiring Hayes' perfected features.Once the last bell of the day rang everyone ran out to the parking lot to head home.As I was walking to Jack's car I saw the same people he was talking to at lunch,including Hayes.I made my way up to the truck as their attention directed towards me."Ready to go?" I asked ready to get home and finish the series of Orange is the New Black that I have been obsessing over the last few weeks."Yeah." Jack said as a smirk plastered on his face.What?I guess he could see the confusion on my face when he smiled and shook his head.We both got in the car to head home,the music blasting through the speakers.
