Misunderstanding //Markhyuck//

Soon function started and Haechan, Minhyuck, Jaemin got seated on their respected seats. They watched at principal who was giving some life speech to students.

"So without wasting time I would like to call our chief guest one and only CEO of Lee corporation, one of most famous and handsome Mr. Mark lee" Principal exclaimed and a loud applause came from audience.

But for three lees in audience it was surprise, they never expected to see Mark here. Minhyuck knew it that his dad is in Seoul now, but it was surprising for him too.

Minhyuck turned to see Haechan when he saw his dad staring, Haechan was looking tensed, uncomfortable. He was about to place his hand on Haechan's to make him relax, but Jaemin did it before him.

He turned again toward stage and still found his dad staring to his papa. Mark walked toward podium and said "Good morning to all students and good luck for your results"

He took a seat on couch which was placed on stage for chief guests. Now principal and other teachers started the function.

Minhyuck's POV:

They distributed students their certificates with a small photo session for memories, but all I did is watch them giving certificates. Why aren't they calling me? Even my friends got their certificates with their grades written on it.

I saw dad who was talking to a guy sitting next to him while glancing at papa per minute. I can see papa feeling uncomfortable, but Jaemin uncle was doing his great job in distracting him.

Am I failed? Why aren't they calling me? I turned when I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"You might be in top three students, don't worry" it was papa, he took out his napkin and wiped my sweats from forehead which I didn't noticed.

He gave me a light, but calm smile which really worked on me.

"Why are you sweating?" He said and chuckled a bit.

"I didn't realised it until you wiped them, I'm scared for my grade" I replied and wiped my sweat which was rolling down my forehead.

He smiled at me and said "it's okay, You know when I used to study in this school, I was so scared for my grade that I fell sick a day before announcement"

I giggled at him and sighed trying to calm myself down.

"Now it's almost end of the function and I would like Mr. Mark lee to come forward and give certificates to our top three students" Principal sir said and a song changed in to 'Lost sky-dreams' and it really sounds amazing.

Everyone gave a loud applause when dad stood up from his seat with his high chest fixing his tuxedo.

"Now let's call our top students who made our whole school proud" He opened his file reading something. He smiled and continued "Jake Wong is on third place"

I saw Jake standing and walking toward stage with smile on his face, Everyone including me clapped for him. He proudly climbed stairs to stage and took his certificate from principal and dad. They called Jack's parents as well for a small photo session with dad.

"Now the student who came on second place is Park Sookie" Principal said in MIC with proud on his face, he smiled calling his daughter on stage giving her certificate and clicking pictures with dad.

She walked down stairs while smirking at me, why is she smirking at me? What the hell!

I turned my face away from her and faced papa who noticed her too. He smiled at me and I smiled back at him, then I again looked toward stage and what the surprising thing I caught.

I caught my dad smiling a bit while looking at me and papa. My smile grew wider, I saw papa who was now talking to Jaemin about Sookie I guess.

"Now now, it's time to call our student who always tops in whole school board" The principal said.

In whole school board? It can't be me, I'm failed.

"It's non other then our LEE MINHYUCK, I WANT A SPECIAL LOUD APPLAUSE FOR THIS GUY" The principal announced the name.

It's Lee Minhyuck. WHAT? Did he called my name? It can be another Lee Minhyuck. I don't top in whole school board.

"Minhyuck go, what are you waiting for?" Jaemin uncle said while shaking me.

"Did he really called my name?" I asked and looked toward principal who was smiling widely at me.

I stood up from my seat and a loud applause came from audience which made me nervous.

Dad is still their, papa is here too. Wait! I'm the top student? I top in whole school board? How? I never expected or thought about it.

I walked up stairs to stage and MY dad handed me my certificate, he smiled at me and it's like my xerox copy. He patted my shoulder and we both looked toward camera and camera man clicked our picture.

"It would be great if Minhyuck's parents come on stage to give him certificate too" Principal sir said in MIC.

Jaemin uncle smiled at papa who was looking sad may be because dad is here too.
