Chapter 14

Alex pov.

My eyes were heavy with sleep and i let myself drift into sleep again not wanting the comfortable warm feeling of the bed to go away i burried my head into the  pillow enjoying the feeting as i rubbed my face on it.

Yesterday night my mom came home, the month long conference was finnaly over , yesterday being a friday was a added bonus since i could now sleep in for the day.

At about 11.00 am I woke up, got ready and was seated on my bed when i decided to peer out my window only to find Judes car gone ,guess   he went home.

I was wearing black  large sweatpants  a large white shirt and a pair of pure white sneakers . I headed downstairs and hugged my mom who was seated at the kitchen island drinking a cup of coffee and taking abite of her toast as she read the local newspaper.

We didnt get to talk much last night since we were both really tired . It didnt help that she arrived at three in  the morning,but i was glad she was home .

"Soo Cloe tells me Troy has been sleeping over the whole night". Mom said  lowering the paper and wiggling her eyebrows at me.

"Really mom. Nothing happened Troys just my friend "i stomped pulling a face at her.

"Yeah i said that too and hear you are "she said snikering to her self.

"Mom!!!! What the hell ? "I yelled  half laghing .I could only imagine the look on grangrans face . She was the most strict woman on planet earth in my opinion.

"But i believe you " she said smiling her sweat smile mischief in her eyes . I smiled back placing my bowl of cereal on the counter . We had breakfast together in peace just enjoying each others company .

At around  one mom went to her office to read her novel collection while i went next door to play with Bree..she said Becky was on a date with Drew and Cassie was out with mr couper . Troy was at Judes house and Mrs Couper was at the store soo i headed over to their house and watched a few series with her . Then we headed to her room to redecorate her wall on her side of the room.

We did a nice purple and pink dream clouds design on the wall and covered it in glitter . The final outcome was to die for i might even do the same to one of my walls . Once done we just sat there on the flour clearing up when Bree said.

"Can i tell you a secret.?"

"Sure thing B." I said looking at her .

"I have a crush on this guy ,but his way older than me ." She said sitting on a cushon .

"Really? "  i said moving closer to her .

"Yeah but i dont think he likes me ..im not as pretty as the girls he dates " . She said looking down .

"Dont say that about yourself"  i said raising her downcast chin. "You are really pretty and smart  and if he dosent see that then he is not worthy of you" i said smilling at her.

"Really you think soo". She asked .

"I know soo ." I affirmed her

"Ok. You know Jude right ..thats the boy i like. Promise you wont tell anyone . " she said smilling

I chocked on my saliva and hit my chest hard trying not to suffocate . "Jude Regio? "..i asked .

She looked alarmed  at my reaxtion ...but i collected myself and said .."your way too good for him."

She chuckled at this and continued sweaping the glitter off the floor.

"Soo what about you?" she asked "who do you like.?"
