Despair Part Two

This will have violence (Can you guess which Mortal Kombat character I got inspiration from)

Narrator POV:

When the Cipher Wheel woke up, they were surprised to see that they were laying on the ground. Slowly each of them looked around and saw that they were in the forest near the Mystery Shack.

"W..What's going on?" Mabel asked. No one answered her since they also didn't know the answer. Why were they laying on the forest floor? Last they remembered..they were hanging in Bill's dungeon yet...here they are near the shack.

"I don't know. But we should get back to the shack." Ford said as the others looked at each other and followed behind them. As they did...everyone noted how quiet it is. It was almost never quiet near the shack so they prepared themselves for the worst.

"Dudes..I don't like this." Soos said.

"Me neither. But we have to keep moving." Wendy said as they slowly walked out of the forest only to see that the shack in the distance. Everyone hoped that the survivors were okay and took a couple of steps towards it..only to hear a blood curling scream coming from inside.

"Wait...That's Candy!" Mabel said as she raced towards the shack and slammed the door open just in time to see that a demon biting Candy's neck and tearing it. Mabel instantly tried to save her friend, only for the demon to hiss and towards another part of the shack.

"Mabel, What's..." Wendy said before they saw the condition of Candy on the floor. She was struggling to not choke on her own blood. It was heartbreaking to see yet...she noticed that no other people were around.

"Oh God...What happened to her?" Stan asked.

"A demon was on top of her and before I could stop them....they bite and tore part of her neck off." Mabel said while trying hard not to sob over the body of her friend.

"But that's impossible...the barrier should've kept the demons away." Ford said before he heard a couple of thuds coming from up the stairs. He looked towards the others and signaled them to follow him and see what was going on...unaware that Bill and his henchmanics were watching this.

Bill POV:

I can't believe that none of them knew that this was just a dream. They were the "saviors" of the world yet how could they if they can't tell fact from fiction.

"Wow. This nightmare is awesome." 8-ball said.

"I know. Pinetree helped figure out the details of it." I said.

"Using what?" Pyronica Asked.

"Mortal Kombat. A video game series that has two groups fight to the death so they could save Earth Realm." Pinetree said.

"Why save it? Surely things would be better if it was destroyed." Keyhole said.

"Only one of the group does that. Anyway...they each fight in a tournament to the death." Pinetree said.

"Sounds fun." Pacifire said.

"It is. Especially when you do fatalities and brutalities." Pinetree said with a huge grin on his face. 

"I'll like to try that game. But...we should really get back to the dream." 8-Ball said as we noticed that Sixer was just about to open one of the doors upstairs.

Mabel POV:

As I watched my Grunckle Ford open the door, I quickly looked at my hands and arms that were covered in Candy's blood. My friend was dead..and instead of helping, I just let her die. But I quickly placed that thought in the back of my mind...I had to figure out what happened here and how demons were able to enter the shack. So I stood quickly as my Grunckle Ford open the door. As we all looked inside...I had to quickly hold on to Wendy. Because...

Her family was in pieces and many others may have shared the same fate.
