"Do stars cry?"

Have you ever wondered if stars cry?
Are they basking in tears:
While passing by?
Do they see our struggle?
Can they feel our pain?
Is this why- we have summer rain?
Do they cry to God,
Who knows their name?
Do they say, Lord they suffer,
Will you save them?
And does God say,
Soon will be the day.
They must stay in place,
And resume their position.
For they serve a purpose-
Light their mission.
But I know they see us,
From the darkened sky-
Seeing our pain:
They wail up and sigh.
So they brighten their light,
To give us hope.
Lighting the sky to let us know,
Soon God will come,
with a holy antidote-
Sin will end;
This is my confident hope.
