SING TO ME INSTEAD (Stell Ajero) [SOON]

PROLOGUE

“Why? Why did you tell her that?” Stell asked the girl on the other side of the door.

“Which one?”

“When you told her that it was you who offered to help me.”

“Isn’t it true?”

“I was the one who asked for your help.”

“Do you remember when I first heard you crying in here?” Stell cringed at the memory; his puffy red eyes, his choked sobs and pained whimpers coming back to him.

“Y-yes.”

“I let you cry your heart out. I waited until you were done with no complaints. And then I offered to help.”

“I can't thank you enough for that.” Stell sighed, leaning his head back against the door and closing his eyes.

“Vester?”

“Hm?”

“I just want you to know.. you mean a lot to me. When I met you that day, you were so... broken. And it tore me apart. Given the fact that I didn’t know you, I was confused. But, as days passed, I grew concerned of you. Since I heard you here, I knew this would always be where you'd hide. So, I waited here everyday.”

“Y-you did?”

“I did. That's how much you mean to me, Stell. I've never cared about someone so much before. All I know, is that I need to make sure that you will never suffer ever again.”

Stell clamped a hand over his mouth to muffle the small sobs erupting from his throat.

“I will always be here for you, Stell. I'm not going anywhere.”
