Thirteen years of me being quirkless and then I land myself going through the ghost portal that had failed. My parents wanted to get a portal to the ghost zone. And I was the idiot that stumbled into the portal. That actually worked. It just wasn't turned on. And it changed me. Because at that moment... I died and became the ghostgirl.

What am I supposed to do on a Saturday? I could always hang out with the girls while they went to the mall. But I don't want to be with them while they raid the Victoria Secret clearances, Bath and Body Works sales, and other stupid girlie stuff. Then there's the boys with the arcade. Don't want to be there when Katsuki ultimately fails miserably at any racing game or super smash bros (if they have it (don't really remember if they do)).
Then I could always go with the nerds: Midoriya, Todoroki, and Iida to the bookstore. But I already have a bookshelf of books waiting to be read. I could always clean my room, but I know if I do that the only thing that'll get cleaned is nothing and just the reorganization of my shelves both of books and my action figures.
"Come on, Ecto-brat." the voice of the always angry Katsuki Bakugo said from his spot in the doorway of my dorm.
Normally it would have angered me that he was here to bug me. But my boredom of the day had overpowered my temper.
"What do you want, Katsuki?" I turned to him from my spot on my bed.
"Kirishima asked me to drag you out and to meet them at the arcade." explosion boy grumbled from my door.
I grumbled from my spot with my phone in my hand, scrolling through my social media (because that's really the only thing I have the strength and motivation to do at this point of time). I sat up on my bed, still looking at my phone. "Do I have to?" I know I sounded like a baby, but I needed to get the annoying across because Bakugo has a certain patience level with annoying. And I knew I could excell to that point.
Bakugo growled, stormed into my room, and grabbed me by the hood of my black hoodie. "We're going to the arcade, Ecto-Brat." And here he goes, dragging me out of my room by my hood.
"Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. I'll go to the arcade with you. Can you please let go of me and let me walk on my own? I don't want to look like Manabe in Katoura-San after Mifune dragged him down the stairs from the roof after he was discharged from the hospital." I told him.
Bakugo grumbled, but let me go nonetheless. I stood up and susted myself off (not that I needed to. I just felt like doing it so I could have one boss like moment) and then, I bolted back towards my room. Before Katsuki grabbed onto my hood and stopped me. I sighed, not wanting to be Manabe in that dire moment of Katoura-San once again. And I followed after Katsuki, begrudgingly, as the two of us went to meet the rest of the squad with us.
The porcupine himself continued to grumble as we walked to the mall where the arcade was. The squad, which contained me, Katsuki Bakugo, Eijiro Kirishima, Mina Ashido, Sera Hanta, and Denki Kaminari. And just like most groups, there were certain duos within the quad+ groups that were closer than they were to the other members. I was closest to Mina seeing as we went to the same middle school.
When we were at the entrance exam, I was in the same arena as Katsuki. Of course, he didn't know who I was at the time. And I had also had my powers for a considerable lesser amount of time than everyone else (I was thirteen when I got my powers as oppose to their five years of age). When I ultimately met Katsuki, he was a sourpuss about it and struck up an attitude with me. However, I eventually wore him down to where we were close friends.
Not neccesarily close as he and Kirishima is or me with Mina (or my sister and my other two friends who're my neighbors and in the support department), but close nonetheless. We were close in the terms of where I could be my normally sarcastic and witty self (although my sister will argue with me saying I am not sarcastic or witty (or any other interesting quality one would possess (thank you sis))) and I don't annoy Katsuki (like most other sarcastic or witty people will).
"[Y/N]!" my older sister, Daisy, shouted at me as we were about to leave the gate.
I turned to the [H/C] haired female that shared my hair color, but held purple eyes instead of my regular [E/C] eyes. I smiled at her before seeing our neighbors, Zeke and Jo, with her. Katsuki scoffed as he noticed the three of them coming up to them. Before we were placed in the dorms after Katsuki was abducted by the league of villains, Katsuki had walked me home multiple times, meeting both my parents and third-year student in the hero course I called my sister.
And Katsuki didn't like Zeke, Jo, or Daisy. He seemed to have a neutral stance to my parents. Zeke, Jo, and Daisy (or as I call the Emoticon Trio (will be explained as a later date)) didn't like the blonde porcupine much like said porcupine didn't like them. My parents on the other hand? They found sparky sparky boom boom to be how do I say is "Sparky sparky boom boom is the most hilarious and interesting person we've met let alone a new friend of yours".
That was mom's exact words. I regret letting both of my parents watch the Last Airbender cartoon (the best thing that nickelodeon gave us besides a certain ghost superhero cartoon that this story is inspired by) when they said that the movie named the Last Airbender (because Avatar was already taken by a "movie franchise" that's been taking a decade to pump out a sequel, but Disney gave a world in Animal Kingdom in Orlando) was awesome.
The only thing I take from that point of my life (autumn break in middle school) is I have made them more cultured individuals. Anyways, back to the story before I go on a tangent on a tangent. Which the story maybe is.
"Ph, hi, Daisy, Jo, Zeke." I greeted them.
"Where are you going?" Daisy asked.
"Katsuki is taking me to meet our friends at the arcade in the mall." To be fair the only arcade that was at the mall was the Dave & Busters that we've been going as often as we could so the boys could get a gaming system for the dorm building (because a certain wannabe pikachu and spiderless spiderman broke it while battling a one-on-one supersmash bros finals of the tournament within the boys' friend group).
I noticed the look that Zeke and Jo gave each other while Daisy did the eyebrow dance at me. Thank you, whoever you are out there, for having Katsuki not looking our way in this moment. I flicked her forehead.
"I don't like that look you're giving me, sis. Can't me and Katsuki meet our friends at the mall like normal people without being bombarded by awkward smalltalk?" I asked her.
Daisy's shoulders slumped down and she nodded. I returned to Katsuki and the two of us continued our trekk. I had changed drastically now that I'm not hanging out with those three again. And I have no idea why.
