Chapter 3-

It was now a routine for Nozomi. Since that one Friday night, Nozomi would always meet up with Oikawa every Friday night.

They would sit on the concrete ground, leaning their backs against the cold, hard railing. They laughed quite a lot, talking about their day and things that happened at school. However, neither of them mentioned what school they actually went to. None of them felt the need to.

Sometimes, they would share food they bought from the closest convenience store and eat them together. Nozomi realized Oikawa's love for milk bread, and Oikawa found out about Nozomi's addiction to peach juice.

Nozomi now had something to expect, something to wait for. She never had that feeling before until now, and knowing that scared her but at the same time it excited her.

Excitement. Something she would only feel for writing now shared in expectation to meet Oikawa.

"I'm off." Nozomi said one Friday night. Her sister glanced at her, then looked away. Nozomi slipped on her shoes and opened the door.

"Be-be careful." Nozomi heard her sister speak hesitantly. She stared at her for a while, her sister looking away in embarrassment.

"I know. See you." Nozomi calmly stated and closed the door behind her as she left. Each time she would walk to the bridge, there was always the feeling of doubt, a feeling that Oikawa wouldn't be there, waiting for her. But her doubts would always be cleared whenever she saw Oikawa's waiting figure, his arms folded on the railing as he turned his head to towards Nozomi. He smiled at her, and she smiled back.

Together, they talked about their favorite movies, what animals they feared most (to which Nozomi responded that she was afraid of porcupines), and what music they liked to listen to. Oikawa would share his earbuds with Nozomi and together they would listen to all types of music.

Oikawa asked Nozomi about the types of stories she likes to write, to which Nozomi replies that she writes about random things that magically pop into her mind.

"Maybe you could write me something sometime." Oikawa said, well swallowing his milk bread down his throat.

"Manners, boy." Nozomi scolded, playfully slapping his arm.

"Ow, You've killed me!" He bellowed dramatically, rubbing his arm. Nozomi laughed at his act, which made Oikawa smile.

Nozomi was silent for a while, thinking about Oikawa's request. "About me writing for you....." Nozomi started. Oikawa quickly looked at her, his eyes widening.

"Oh no, you don't have to. I mean—if you want to you can, but otherwise you don't have to. Just forget what I asked. Well, actually...." Oikawa quickly explained, is arms waving nervously in front of him as he explained himself. His voice quickly died out, as he ducked his head in embarrassment. Nozomi found the overall reaction hilarious.

"If I feel like it." She said, gaining the attention of Oikawa as he lifted his head to look at her again.

"If I feel like it, maybe I will. Maybe." She emphasized the 'maybe' but she didn't think Oikawa paid any close attention. His eyes brightened as he made the happiest expression she's ever seen in her life. Maybe even too happy. It creeped Nozomi out.
