I'm not like normal princesses I don't like the fancy dresses I don't like being rich I don't like everyone knowing who I am. I wish my life was different, I wish I was like everyone else but no I live in a castle with servants and fifty million rooms that we never use. My parents are very exsepting of who I am they encourage me to be difrent because they love me.

My dad and older brother have to leave a lot to go to foren countrys but they always bring me back something new which is super cool. Today is my birthday I'm turning 17 and we have some guests coming over, One of them is supposed to be a potential suter for me but I don't want to marry someone at this age I want to travel and see the world meet new people and I know this sounds cliche but I want fall in love. Laugh all you want but its true I want to find my true love who is somewhere out there in the world.

Since its morning I'm in my room witch is probably the size of a small house, most royalty have a servent help them get dressed mostly women do but I don't. like I said I'm different I like to wear pants. Pants are much more comfortable than a corset and a giant hoop skirt that you can't sit in so I stick with a nice simple comfortable look. brown pants, boots, a black shirt, and a leather jacket with my long blond wavy hair  hanging at my side. Nice and simple.

After geting dressed I head down a long hallway and reach a set of stairs and at the bottom standing in a fancy pink dress is a woman with blond hair all tied up in a nice neat bun with a big smile on her face. that woman is my mother and standing next to her are two penguins (by that I mean two men in tuxedos) they were standing so straight you'd think they had a stick up their buts, they didn't seem to pleased when they noticed I wasn't in a dress and I was very happy about that.

When I reached the bottom of the fancy marble stair case I go and stand next to my mom to great her "good morning mother how are you today?" I ask with a smile

"I'm doing quite well how about you?" She replys in the softest tone its like the voice of an angel.

"I feel the same. who are our guests?" Now that I'm closer I can finally get a better look at the two. The older one about 40 had a large bold spot on the top of his head that was being coverd by a bad tupay and a funny looking mustache that curled at the ends, the other one a young boy about the same age as me he had short brown hair and dark green eyes he was shorter than me he seemed to be about 5'10 and was kind of embarrassed when he realized I was taller and he had taller heels than I do on. I couldn't help but giggle a little but was shot a nasty glare from my mom when she starts to say "This is Duke Si Vo Hall of the country Dellmay and his son Michael. Gentleman this is my daughter Danni we are so honored to have you here."

"Maybe you should inform your daughter that a lady like herself should wear a respectable dress in front of guests not pants" the duke says in the snudyest voice I can imagine.

"Well this princesses has ears and can hear you just fine so if you don't mind I would like it very much if you would tell me directly and not through any one else thank you very much." I don't think he was expecting me to say that to him because he just stood staring at me like I was a mad woman.

After that little display we headed into the dinning room to eat breakfast, the boy Michael still hasn't said a word and its making me mad I mean he is just sitting there eating his food so quietly you would think he was a spy on a mission but he's not which suuucks. I'm the first one to brake the silence with "So what brings you guys to our humble abode?"

"We thought it would be a good idea for you two to meet since you are both coming of age and  Michael is going to need a potential bride to serve with him." The Duke answers just as a big gust of wind comes from someone opening a door and blows so hard it causes his tupay to fly up at one end. I can bearaly keep myself from laughing so I look over at my mom and she is in the same situation as me we are fighting it so hard, the man has no clue what is going on and questions us on what is wrong and there goes another gust of wind and it is just to funny we can't keep it in we break out laughing and we are not one bit ashamed. The mans face was priceless he was so shooked that we would dare laugh at  him which made us laugh harder he stood up grabbed his sons arm and ran out as fast as he could.
