The dinning room is silent as my mother and I finish or food until we hear the front door swing open and a loud voice yells "we're home family!" Its my dad  and brother john they're finally back. I run as fast as I can to the door and almost tackled my dad to the floor while my brother just stands there and laughs at me. He is tall like me but he takes on after my dad with brown hair and a chiseled jaw line and is well built and my father is very similar in features. I finally let go of my dad to allow my mom to see her husband I turn to my brother and give him a big hug.

"What did you bring me?! What did you bring me?!" I'm acting like a child on Christmas.

"What makes you think we brought you something hmm." John says with a smile.

I stick my tongue out at him. My dad laughs and turns to the wagon that is sitting outside with all their stuff in it. He walks over and grabs a box and walks back to us and sets it in my hands. I quickly rip off the top and push back the paper to find a beautiful leather satchel resting on the bottom. "Its beautiful thank you so much father I love it!" I share happily.

"That's not all of your gifts." My mother adds right before the most beautiful horse is  led to the front of the castle. She's an Appaloosa with a gray base and white spots, the pattern can only be described as the night sky.

"She's beautiful!" I exclaim, I continue "is she for me?"

"Of course she is for you ya dimwit!" My brother yells."who else should she be for!"

I run and grab my family in a hug "thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I'm such a child.

"Now my Darling, you can finally go on that adventure you never cease to speak of. Be free and live your life to its fullest, live for all the rest that can't." Mother tells me with the happiest but sadest eyes and voice the world has ever known.

I can barely hold in my excitement I run as fast as my feet can carry me up the stairs to my room and start packing my things into my bag and saddle bags. I'm finally going to live my life and travel as far as the wind will carry me. Meet new people, see new places and, try new things, it's all I have ever wanted yet I feel a little sad that I will actually be leaving my home the only place I have ever known. It'll be a definite change but at least it will be for the better.

After I finished packing I headed down stairs to the main dining area to have one last meal before I set out in the morning.
