"Dear John,
Oh love, how I dreary to see your face. These six months can't seem to go by fast enough. Your letters fill me with hope. We've kept you in our prayers. If anything were to happen to you I couldn't think of what me and Mendy would do. Darling, we love you. I've said it every letter and will continue to until your return, stay safe. We love you. Every time I role over and your face isn't there I almost cry. We have no one to fill the spot you left at our table. Mendy has been doing well in school. She even drew a picture of you, it was the sweetest thing ever. I will attach it to this letter. Til your face I see is when my face will light up with true happiness. Until then, my love.
Love, Lorian."
