Ch.19

Y/n's POV

A month passed by after the workshop battle. Nothing changed that much in our relationship, except for some small make out sessions.

I also got used to khun's sudden hugs. He can be a baby when he's tired or when he's jealous of me babying bam too much.

"Cuddle session/recharging"

Is what khun called it, it's kinda cute to see him just walks up and hug me saying he's too stressed out training wangnan's team or just mainly tired from handling them 24/7.

I've been helping him with training for wangnan's team with their abilities, especially ehwa, and she improved a lot. I also continue learning from the codex.

It took a while to understand but I did and I learned a bunch of new abilities for my flames. The everyday routine of me sparing with bam along with ran and novick helps a lot, since they're strong.

I've also told Mr. Hatzling about the translation for the codex. Now we're in a meeting to discuss about the hell train.

Hwaryun explain to us about how the hell train works and how we need to steal the tickets to board it. She also pointed out that everyone is good as dead if we tried to get on it as our conditions now.

"So I suggest we split in groups, viole and crocodile will come with me, all of you won't get any stronger if you keep depending on him, khun will be the leader and get stronger within a year, and y/n you'll be joining novick's team"

Hwaryun explained the plan.

"What-"

"Okay"

Khun was about to protest but I cut him off.

"What the hell are you agreeing about!?" Khun raised his voice at me. I averted my eyes away from him. "She's a guide, khun and bam trust her enough" I replied

"Do you remember what happened the last time we got separated? You almost died y/n!" Khun continue "I'm stronger now, I can take care of myself!" I argued

"you don't understand the point! You're really reckless if you got angry and you make stupid decisions, y/n let's be real, you're literally a monster with anger issues that can explode anytime!" He shouted and I widen my eyes

I'm supposed to be fine with that.. I'm used to it... But why does it hurts so much when khun said it?

I thought as I clench my fists. Everyone in the room fell silent, I can only hear my heart beating on my ears on how quiet the room is

"Mr. Khun that's out of the line" Bam said breaking the heavy tension in the room

"Y/n, that's not what I mean.. I-"

"Is that how you look at me now?"

I cut him off, nails continue digging into my skin.

What am I talking about.. That's just the truth..

I thought and then turn around to leave the conference room.

"Y/n! Wait-" Khun called out and I slam the door shut. My pocket appears and I call ran.

"Y/n?" Ran's voice echoes through the hall "where are you?" I ask "getting ready to leave for tomorrow, why?" He replied and ask

"I'll join you guys" I said and I noticed my voice cracked "did something happen?" Novick ask "hwaryun said it's better for me to go with you guys" I replied

"And khun is cool with it?" Dan ask "Can we leave now?" I ask when I hear the door opens from the conference room. I haven't went that far yet.

"Sure, I'll get the airship ready" Xia xia replied "thanks, I'll meet you guys outside" I replied and end the call
