Crypto x Loba: My Services

Day One of Mischief.

"Yo C dawg! Wanna hang out later and hang with the fellas?! We're having drinks and partying tonight homes!!" Octane said dancing with his robotic legs doing finger guns at me.

I didn't bother looking away from my screen. I continued to look through files and all I could to look for my sister.

"You go on ahead. I'm not in the mood for.."partying" but thanks for the offer I guess." Octane sighed as he tells me again and again that I over work. Not my fault I have a missing sibling I didn't want it to happen.

He walked away as I sighed running my hand through my hair leaning back in my chair. I felt a presents behind me as I didn't turn around.

"How long you've been standing there..?"

"Mmm...long enough my little hacker boy." I rolled my eyes as I took a glance back.

Loba..

She had a smirk on her face that read danger and trouble. Since day one of her arrival she wanted nothing but revenge on Relevant...that I could understand but being reminded everyday was a nightmare.

I turned back to my screen typing again as her heels clicked against the floor coming closer. She was going to manipulate me into her little games...and I'm not here for it.

"Whatever is it Loba I'm not interested..go find someone else who can help you.."

"What makes you think I need help? I just wanted to hang around..." she sat on the edge on my desk leaning towards me whispering, "Is that too much to ask?" I froze for a good second taking a deep breath then slowly leering it out.

"I guess not...but why around me? Everyone knows how you treat them or manipulate their minds to get what you want-" she held something cold against my neck stopping me from finishing my sentence.

"You we're saying?" She said leaning into my line of view to where we locked eyes. She thinks threatening me would work?

"Not gonna work on me..we're just living in a world to fight everyday. So I don't care if I lose my mind. Go ahead pull the trigger.." She looked at the blankness in my eyes as she moved the gun away.

"Bold. Well ballsy I should say..never seen a man willing to lose his life so easily.." She put her gun away as I returned to the screen.

Without a doubt I could feel her eyes looking me over as I continued to look. She got up and walked away but what I didn't know...she was behind me.

She reached out pulling me back running her hands over my chest to my shoulders.

"So tense...so wired..have you even considered easing your mind? Listen I get it you lost someone..and wanting to find them, but if it were my shoes you wouldn't be able to get them back after seeing them die infront of you.." Her words struck me like a drum.

That's right..she lost her dad when she was younger..she won't be able to see him..I on the other hand have a chance to find my sister..alive.

I know I would say manipulation, but no one can bluntly say that without having their voice cracked..

"I see..." is all I could say she had me stuck in my place. She took her hand turning my head slightly to look at her.

"Now...I heard what robo legs said to you...why not unwind and have a drink? Everyone needs to even me.." She said as I looked at her then away.

"Fair enough.." she smiled genuinely for first time. I shut off the computer and everything as I stood up. She took my hand in hers leading me out of the room away from the stressful situation.

For once I felt at ease...

Hello.

First story of the year which is um..not a GOOD year! I am hoping my story reaches out to those of gaming interest and for those who enjoy apex!

I admit I'm not big on the stories as much like most should but Apex legends is the game to play.

In my opinion..

Also I know this isn't a pairing but seeing these two come together for a purpose seems to work in my eyes.

Crypto searching for his sister and getting revenge while Loba seeks revenge only and wants to destroy Relevant.

Their stories are sad and heartbreaking but in the end they seem to have somethings in common.

I shall continue the story once it is up to view and maybe help clear my head of things!
