A Day at Hyakkou

She watched Yumeko Jabami from afar. She was in the middle of gambling with Itsuki. Her recent assignment was to get all the information she could for Jabami-san. From recent discovery she had learnt that she had quite a large bank account and perhaps an older sister that is hospitalized. She was also a bami, her last name meaning snake bite which seemed to fit her personality.

It was their second time playing, so far Yumeko had been drawing every card right. Knowing Itsuki there was definitely a trick behind the cards and it seems Yumeko had seen it. Eventually Yumeko had picked more than half the cards and she had won the game.

After the game was over she got up from the sofa she had been sitting on and walked to the room where they kept all of the files of the students. She placed Jabami's back and walked out of the room.

It was almost class time now and so she headed to her class. She was in the Clover class, she was not yet into high school but Hyakkou provided Junior and high school classes. She walked quickly down the hallways when suddenly someone called her name.

"Akarui!"

She turned around and saw no other than Kaede Manyuda rushing toward her. She stood still in the middle of the hallway and waited for him. Once he caught up he let out a gasp of air and then looked at her. "I assume you were present during Jabami's game with Sumeragi, Correct?"

She nodded, "Yes, why?"

"Under the circumstances she had been expelled from the student council, leaving a spot open."

"And your point?"

"I suggested to the president that we let you on the student council, you've proven yourself worthy of providing us information. But the choice is up to you."

"Why me Kaede? There's tons of other people more talented and older than me that have proved just as worthy," She got close to his face making him uncomfortable, "Or is there something up your sleeve that you need me for?"

He kept his poker face and then said, "I have no idea what you are talking about, the president agreed with me."

"Fine, I'll join, but if you think about using me I'd think again."

She turned around and begane heading to her class. There was no doubt her mind that Kaede wanted to use her so that he would have a better chance at becoming the next president but she was smarter than he thought. She arrived at her class and sat down in her chair.

She got up from her seat but a hand grabbed her arm pulling her back a bit. "What the hell?" she said and turned around to see her classmate Yamodea.

"Please gamble with me Yamamoto!" He shouted. She almost had forgotten her last name in this school was Yamamoto to hide her identity as a Momobami.

She looked at Yamodea and noticed a Housepet tag around his neck.

"I'm sorry doggy, no can do, toodles!" She skipped out of the classroom and then switched to walking once she got to the hallway. People are so desperate now a day she thought as she turned down a hallway that was vacant. She leaned against the wall and browsed through her phone.

Suddenly a hand pushed her harder into the wall and the person screamed, "Gaki(Little brat)!"

She had dropped her phone and gazed up at the student, It was Jun Kiwatari, a well known bully of the school. She smiled, "Kiwatari, after last time I thought you had learnt to leave me alone."

After this comment he moved his hand from her shoulder to her neck, threatening to choke her.

"Shut up or I'll choke you right here, right now." He pressed the hand around her neck a little harder.

"You wouldn't actually choke me," She said confidently, "You don't have the guts"

He pressed his hand harder catching her by surprise. Last time she used some evidence against him to get him to let her go but now she could barely speak. She was practically hanging off the wall now. She grabbed his arm and started to struggle but he wouldn't let go. He had been so focused on her that he didn't see a figure come up behind him.

"O-onee chan" she said barley.

Jun turned around and to his surprise there stood Kirari and Sayaka.

"Jun I suggest you back off of her or you might regret it," Kirari said as Sayaka got out her taser.

Jun let her drop to the floor and then ran off. Akarui ran up and hugged Kirari, out of the corner of her eye she thought she saw Sayaka almost get a bit jealous and so she let go."How did you know I was in trouble?" She said rubbing her neck.

"Your phone sent me an alert after it hit the floor"

Akarui picked up her phone, the screen was slightly cracked. "Alright then I'll let you two lovebirds get back to whatever you were doing," she said.

A small blush lined Sayaka's face and Kirari let out a small giggle. There was no doubt that there was something between those two. She walked back into the main hallway and started walking to her locker. She was posting something on her social media with a picture of Kirari and Sayaka and in the caption she said, Kirasaya is my otp.
